I did a practice setup in my backyard and 3 of the corner poles bent. I am worried that they will fail when I am actually camping. Also, one of the plastic collars on the shock-corded poles has a manufacturing defect. How do I get new poles?Otherwise, it is as expected and quite pleased.June 2024 Update: Ever Advanced came through in high fashion. New poles were sent quickly and in time for our first camping trip of the year. The tent was much easier to set up the second time and none of the poles bent. The degree of black out is amazing. Even in the middle of the day, it is very dark inside the tent. The tent seems to be well made and of very good materials. We are very pleased with it thus far. i was sceptical about how well this tent will block the light and could not believe how well it worked.its relatively easy to set up when following instructions but def a little bit different vs other tents i had.the size and shape is jut great its super tall that me with 6.1 height had plenty room overhead i can totally give it five stars. we had it only in dry weather so i cant speak to rainproof side of it

I set the tent up for the second time and the second day we had it up, the winds got up to about 30 mph. One of the top poles cracked and 4 of the side poles bent. Other than the poles not holding up though, the black put is amazing and the material is strong. My only complaint is that the poles are not that great. There are also no way to get any replacement poles.

This tent is a great large size but the poles were so flimsy they actually bent in half during set up the second time I used the tent. I have no recourse as the return period has now closed. Purchase with caution.

Love the blackout tent to keep it very dark, and helps keep the heat down in the summer too.

We did a trial set up when we first got the tent in April and it set up very easily. It looked like it was going to be the perfect tent for what we needed. However, when we recently went camping and set it up for actual use, 4 of the side poles bent as we setting it up. We were able to straighten them out and use the tent (which once set up it was a great tent). Now the poles are rusted where the bend is and we aren't sure if we should even try to use it again. Basically this has become a 1-use tent. If they can improve the poles it would be a great tent to use, but if not, I wouldn't bother with this product.

The material is very durable, and it does an amazing job blocking out light. Plenty of space. The only downside is that it's quite heavy and you'll need a bigger storage bag as it's pretty much impossible to put back in the bag it came in. But it's worth it!

I’m always hesitant with buying a tent because weather is so unpredictable in Missouri. We did get a torrential downpour on our first night using this tent and there were zero leaks. Everything stayed dry. I absolutely LOVE the blackout feature inside the tent. No sunlight gets in, and if you’re using a light inside the tent, no one can see from the outside. I love the many hooks and space saving holders by the window to hold phones or the like. Zippers were easy to use and great placement. Very easy to set it up, too. The poles are color coordinated. Thick heavy stakes for the ground. Great quality all-around. Highly recommend.
