Works well
Bought this for my senior mom and dad and it’s been a great addition to their bathroom. It feels much safer and more comfortable for them while bathing, especially with the extra room and stability. The oval shape works really well and doesn’t feel cramped. Easy to set up, sturdy, and gives me a little more peace of mind knowing they’re safer in the bath.

Easy install
Very easy to install. My only negative is the outer side is lower from weight of the curtain.

Perfect for freestanding tub- nice clean look
Sturdy and has a nice clean look… form + function. After removing the standing shower unit that was 25 years old, replacing with this beautiful freestanding tub, I realized I really still need some sort of shower option, not just for me but for guests also. Following a whole lot of research and analysis paralysis I finally decided to try this shower curtain frame. I have a small tub in a fairly small space, so that eliminated a lot of other products. Yesterday was Thanksgiving and as with any good Thanksgiving day, it started with a small feast, followed by a couple of glasses of wine, and a little bit of motivation to start this project. I previously asked the bathroom contractor if he would install it and he really just ridiculed the design so I politely told him to shove off, I would do it myself. As you already know, there are a lot of reviews for this particular product (and other similar products) but not very many details on the installation process… yikes. so I went onto YouTube for the scariest part… to see how to properly install a wall anchor… wall anchors are intimidating, but Lowe’s has a great tutorial that made it look so much more simple. Gathered up my tools which included top off for my wine, cordless drill with 11/64 drillbit because I didn’t have 15/64 drillbit which is specifically what the instructions told me I needed… Nevertheless, I also grabbed a Phillips screwdriver, a hammer, measuring tape, sharpie, some painters tape to mark the distance on the wall that would be the centerpoint for the shower ring since my tub is centered, and the mirror is centered. A stool and step ladder. I measured the distance on shower ring posts, measured the wall, did some math and marked everything on the tape strip that I placed level on the wall… and then followed the instructions that were provided in the kit… step one assemble the ring and don’t over torque the screws, or you will strip them so be gentle, stop when the screw is snug. (The frame and all the parts are very lightweight, some sort of aluminum alloy? Sturdy but lightweight… So don’t eff that part up or you’re hosed.) Marked the three points for the first wall bracket, wall anchors… this next part was a little scary and it’s the first time I’ve done it correctly… Grabbed the drill, bored the holes and tapped in the wall anchors in. I had to loosen the holes with the drill a few times before the anchors tapped in without destroying more than one (only one extra is provided). Screwed in the first wall mount flange thingy… I knew it was at the proper point on the wall because I already had marked the level and distance across the wall with my blue tape… I set the first tube into the flange and set the second bracket up to mark and drill… next I asked my daughter to help me hold the whole shower curtain frame so that I could use the level on the frame and double confirm where to drill holes for the second wall mount/flange thingy on the other side. Finish that bracket up. Drill some more holes for the anchors, screw in the second bracket. Then just insert the two posts that go into the wall brackets, and your whole unit is ready to go… Tighten up the little screws underneath each of the wall mount brackets until you get the whole ring to be level, and you’re done. NOTE: on the wall brackets there are three holes for screws that will go into the wall anchors, and one screw that goes underneath where the shower frame tube is inserted. It’s critical that the little screw must be on the bottom and not the side or top because it is the load bearing edge to tighten and lift up the whole shower ring so that it doesn’t sag. You will notice the instructions that there are two exclamation points after this particular sentence, so it is very important 😊 The only reason I needed to use the blue tape was to measure, and mark my wall to know exactly where I wanted to start the brackets from side to side and the distance from the ceiling… and to keep things centered with the tub and mirror. Maybe you don’t need this step but I like to be over prepared before drilling holes in my walls. Most of the time for this project was spent on preparations, drinking wine, reading instructions, looking for the correct drill bit, topping off wine, and general anxiety about being able to finish the project without asking for help. The actual installation was pretty straightforward. I love the results. Currently waiting on 180x65” shower curtain that arrives soon… still need to install a couple of hooks from the ceiling along with some white florist wire (because florist wire is malleable, but strong) and that’s how the shower wand (from the faucet) will hang in place above the whole shower ring. Update 01-DEC-2024 with video: The “not heavy duty” shower curtain I purchased from YISURE seller turned out perfect although I did cut off some of extra width… Maybe 18 to 24 inches. Still plenty left to overlap and make sure that the water stays in the shower. The frame is doing a fine job staying level and is 100% secure on the wall. Now you know what to expect. You’re all set!

Hard to put together and can’t close curtain around tub.
Hard to put together. The pieces do not go together easy. Then when you get out up you realize the curtain can’t even go around all the way…. The whole point of a round curtain is to have it go around the whole tub. Now has to be taken down again to return bc it’s useless.

It’s usable but not great.
It works ok. It’s not adjustable for distance to the wall and not adjustable to be close enough to the ceiling for a clawfoot tub and standard 8ft ceilings. The covers that go over the screws don’t stay on at all unless you stick them on (we used silicone caulk). We made it work but not great quality.

avevo dei dubbi sulla stabilita. Abbiamo il muro con i mattoni forati e quindi installazione è risultata più complessa. Il prodotto buono , si monta velocemente.
