Excellent product (with one possible recurring issue) [UPDATED]
[UPDATE]My replacement lock has now been in place for several months and I am very pleased to say it has been rock solid. This is the best news I could hope for as the functionality of the lock is critical to our goal of creating a simple keyless access point into our garage. The door has no deadbolt so alternative options that replace a deadbolt rather than a door knob were not considered. Having a fingerprint access method for a regular door knob was the perfect fit. From my original post below you may find that our initial unit failed to function. However, from my first contact with the customer service agent assigned to my case I could tell this was going to be a great experience. Within a day or so I had a brand new unit. It replaced the original within minutes. After reprograming my access fingerprint scans it has been functioning perfectly ever since. In fact, it seems to have a beefier solenoid inside based on the sound of the lock resetting that I don't recall on the original unit. So I hold high hopes for it long term.[ORIGINAL REVIEW]I really liked this product back in November when I received it. It has a really nice finish (oil rubbed bronze) and the installation was essentially complication free. Since then it has been working like a charm. I programmed about six extra users (you can program quite a few) that were just alternate scans of my index finger. Doing so reduced the fingerprint reading errors to almost non existent. My family and I have been very pleased... until...About a week ago, I noticed that the unit was no longer auto-locking. In reading reviews on this lock it looks like this could be a design issue. Many have found that the wiring itself apparently disconnects from the locking mechanism after about 4-6 months of use. So I believe we are actually experiencing that issue. It renders our back door to remain unlocked so this is a little concerning. This morning I took a few minutes to write an email to an address I found in the owners manual. I did not hold much hope in this approach. I really prefer to contact a company with an actual phone number. However, within an hour I had a reply from a representative of the company! After a few additional exchanges that included proof of purchase, issue description, etc, I already have a new unit on its way to me.... all of this within about 90 minutes of my first email being sent. In my opinion this is outstanding customer service, especially in todays world. For this alone, even with the issue, I am giving the product a 5 star rating. But my real long term rating will depend on how well the new unit performs over time. I plan to provide an update once the replacement has been in for a while.I trust whatever caused the initial mechanical failure has been corrected if it was a design issue. Brand new products often benefit from having some time in the real world to identify issues that need correcting to ensure longevity in operation. So I am not going to give up on this one. I love the battery life, the fit and finish, the dependability of the finger ID, the ease of use, etc. So I will leave another review update once the replacement is in place for a while. For now, I really do love this door lock. I also appreciate the customer service response.

Works great, easy to instal, high quality. UPDATE - Stopped working after 5 months
Update, as of January 31, 2019. I received the door lock on September 5, 2018. Although I did say I was skeptical If you read the original post I gave it a great review with 5 stars. I should have gone with my initial intuition. The lock worked great until a few nights ago when I went out my back sliding glass door to take the trash out. I then took the trash cans to the front curb and as usual, I come in through the front door. Everything worked the same except I did not hear the motor engaging the door handle, so the handle just moves freely while the latch stays locked. Lucky I left the sliding glass door open or I would have been locked out of my house. The key does work when the motors fail, and the handle on the inside is always fixed to the latch. You can still use the lock as long as you always have the key. The door is always locked from the outside and unlocked from the inside. I have a Schlage electronic deadbolt above it and I have had that for over 5 years and it has never failed. I have read some of the other stories on here and I am lucky I did not have to call a locksmith. It could have been a much worse situation. I have also noticed that the reviews and customer ratings are getting worse. It did work great for 5 months. I see quite a few from the last 5 months all saying the lock failed. I do remember some mention of motor failure when I was comparing, but there is always a chance of any product failing and other companies had worse or no review. I have to be honest and say that everything else worked and still works perfectly. The card reader, fingerprint scanner, keypad, voice prompts, digital readout. All still working, but no motor to unlock it. I think the product idea is still new with the fingerprint and card reader. I would wait till a bigger and well-known company has one and will back it. I doubt I will try to contact the manufacturer, the stories on here don't sound encouraging. This lock could have great potential, just make sure you have a hide-a-key somewhere if you want to take a gamble and buy it. Happy shopping.Mark IOriginal post - "I was skeptical when I first ordered this. It did look and sound too good for the price. I have used electronic locks for 10 years at my house. I have gone through many brands, some better than others. I have seen technology change and this is by far the best. It does everything for home and business security. Great if you need to give a one-time use code to a friend. Has 3 different user levels with up to 300 different users. It keeps a log of all the user and the time and date they entered.Fingerprint scanner works great, with the option for a passcode, card entry, and even a metal key can be used. It also has a place to supply power from outside if the batteries die and you need temporary power to get in. The handles reverse and the top LCD is backlit and easy to read. The keypad is illuminated in a nice blue and even does lighted patterns for different responses. It has a nice voice guided prompt for entry that can also be muted. A perfect lock that does everything I can imagine and looks and feels high quality.Mark I"

Works well but...
It's too easy to accidentally switch it to the private mode that allows only administrators to enter and the fingerprint recognition gets B+ from me, it seems you have to remember the exact way you finger was when you registered it. Too used to my iPhone's crazy accurate recognition I guess. I would still buy it tho, nice features. Sturdy build - tho the handset fell off once, installation error?

Easy to install and work well but stop working in a year but they send me replacement immediately.
I bought and installed last year. It has been working very well but it stopped working in like 11 months. I found that a wire for the motor was broken. I emailed Harfo and requested a replacement of the motor, and immediately got a reply saying they do not have the motor assy but they would send me a full set. In a couple of day I received the replacement.
