Been with their products since they were little startup company. I like the quality of cameras, software works good, night vision is pretty solid , doesn’t cost a ton

Bracket that holds the camara is flimsy, breaks too easy!I
I like the camara, does a good job, but brakes very easy, too flimsy construction! And by then it can not be returned! I have four of these camaras and one of the last ones that I ordered broke! What do you suggest?Thank you!

Problem with some V# cams ?
problem with recording events, micro sd cards, Wyze forum has several people discussing the problem that would seem to be from a batch of Cams that were shipped a while back , I am dealing with support will up date as I progress, Past experiences with Wyze has been very good in all respects,It turns out that Wyze knows about this problem , it effects some cameras but not others, they don't know why? in my case I screwed around with it too long and now can not return it, the problem is an "open case" no solution , they "wished me luck"

Mostly Easy to Setup
I already had one Wyze camera, but it was a different model. Because of this I already had an account and the app.Setting these up was pretty easy. I connected the wires (one on the camera to the USB cable with weather resistant wrap on it). Then I inserted a micro sd card in each . After that I plugged them in and pressed the scan button. This is followed by adding the device to the app. You have to follow a series of steps, one of which is allowing the camera to scan a QR code on your phone. This was the most tedious part, because it is trial and error until you find the right distance. I also increased the brightness on my phone.I am happy with the local recording and the configurability of the cameras in the app, but as you used them more, I started having connectivity issues while loading live view. I am still trying to adjust my network configurations to try to improve responsiveness of the live view.

Won’t use 5Ghz WiFi
These new v3 cameras don’t connect to 5 GHz Wi-Fi. I don’t know why…I have two other v3 cameras that connect to my 5 GHz Wi-Fi just fine. It seems like the company is using a strategy to force people to buy the newer cameras. Don’t be fooled. Make sure you read the fine print.
