Long-term, a great non-traditional greenhouse (with some short-term annoyances)
THE PROS: This item is as stunning and eye-catching as you would expect from the photos. Expertly designed it came flat-packed with wonderful full-colour instructions which were very easy to follow (a must in this case as it's made up of dozens of similar looking struts of different lengths - luckily each strut has a little marking on it so you're always confident you're connecting the right pieces). Once built, it's an amazing addition to your garden and it includes the capability to weigh it down with (14 15kg bags) or 20 concrete clamps (try use the clamps, it is significantly stronger)THE CONS:- The top of plastic ripped quite quickly the second I tried to put in a solar-lamp to hang off the top strut. I've sealed it, but it was a bit too weak in a very important place- Item: This item came with 2 pieces missing. The seller has caused me grief but as the item was fully sealed, I'm assuming the issue occurred at the packaging plant, not the seller.ALSO NOTE: This item is approximately 30kg in the box - the description was wrong when I ordered it.

Doesn't look quite like the picture.
Bought this to house some plants that need protecting over the winter. The images of the igloo look much better than reality! The plastic cover doesn't pull really tight over the framework and looks a bit baggy and creased unlike the images where it almost looks like glass; this cheapens the overall look (I wouldn't have bought it if I had realised this was the case). Plus, I'm not too sure how long this cover will last. The framework was easy to assemble and it does feel very sturdy. It does condensate very badly inside, and the whole roof drips freezing water onto the plants beneath.

Love my igloo
Love my igloo. Brought it to cover my lazy spa during the winter and its been brilliant. It even withstood storm Doris. It does get steamed up n when sun is out it gets very hot like a Greenhouse. But during the cold winter months it done exactly what I needed it for. When I received my igloo the cover was torn so they sent me out another with no problem or hassle. Def recommend.

Love it. A welcome asset to the year extending the time being able to be in the fresh air.

Looks great
The finished product looks great but the assembly wasn't great as the fit was too tight for one set of the poles so all the fittings had to be trimmed to get them on. I don't know how I'm ever going to get it apart again though.

Great in theory, won't last long at all.
In terms of installation, it was mostly easy to do, however, while some of the connectors are too easy to push through into the hubs, others just get stuck and no matter how much pressure you exert or how many blisters you develop, some tubes just won't push in fully into the hub. That might have something to do with the next problem you might face with this product. Laying the cover over the structure was easy but the cover is very tight and just doesn't reach the bottom of the dome easily. There are velcro strips to wrap around the base but they don't reach the base of the structure easily and if you try and exert any degree of pressure to get the job done then the top of the cover will rip immediately!I contacted the reseller and they provided a replacement cover immediately. I decided to try and fix the existing cover and keep the new one as a replacement as the life expectancy for the cover is apparently a minimum of 2 years. Respectfully, I think that is an exaggeration. My first cover started ripping in several different places throughout the year. the velcro strips just tore off the base and the door and window zip either broke off or tore off. My replacement cover tore off at the top exactly where the first did too, despite the fact that I barely pulled at the velcro at all that time.To be fair now, I do live in windy and rainy Northern Ireland but this product is being advertised as weatherproof and the initial rips were the result of a cover that was way too tight and short for the structure. The small gap left at the bottom is inconsequential in good weather but when it is windy, it allows for a violent draught to continuously beat at the dome from the inside until you end up with rips and tears all over.I am deeply disappointed in the product because I'm a handy person and for the price I paid for it I could have built a geodesic dome that is much bigger and used better sturdier materials at a fraction of that price. I chose the convenience of a ready-made product over saving money and my personal time. The result was a deep disappointment that cost a lot of money.

make sure it is well fastened down
i bought this igloo in may 2015, i had a concrete base laid, inside the igloo to avoid water ingress, i was not happy with the tie hooks or thin sheetmetal brackets, so i forged new ones 500mm by 12mm by 18 pieces, these driven in at differant attitudes really held the igloo down.unforetunatly the seam at the door zip was inferior and split, i advised Bouf of this and immeadiatly i had a new one delivered.come December 2015 we had a grand storm, next morning we looked out at our garden, it looked like it had been vandalised everything was turned over, we then realised that the igloo was missing, we looked about for it, it was 3 hundred metres up the grove, in pieces, my garden is well surrounded with high hedges and secluded, how this happened is beyound me.i will of course buy a new igloo as soon as i can because they are fantastic
