Quote: "The snail paste is a gel, which is applied by means of the brush on flower bed borders, plinth or other solid ground.’’ The paste is completely non-toxic but contains substances which make impossible for a snail to overcome this barrier. In their own experiments the animals could not overcome the obstacle even after hunger. A pack will cover a range of 150 metres. It is rain-resistant. This repellent is recommended when a snail-laden area is to be delimited in the long term. This can be, for example, a meadow, a hedge or the compost. From here, in the evening, the snails leave our plants home. In order to provide the snail paste very well, it may be useful to surround the beds with wooden or concrete parts.
