An excellent choice for non-native learners of English
I have tutored ESL for several decades and used or seen a variety of different textbooks. The English for Everyone series introduces non-native individuals to both American and British English, formal and informal idioms, etc. It also offers free audio accompaniment (various accents) to almost every exercise; some exercises require students to listen to the audio to know how to answer questions. The books are not perfect, but they do present English to non-native learners in ways that facilitates learning and makes it enjoyable at times.
