One of the best gardening books I have ever seen
One of the best gardening books I have ever seen. Not only because of the quality of the photographs, which is of course excellent, but mainly because of the choice of the gardens to portray. We are entering a new era in landscaping, beyond the austerity of grasses into a land of make-believe. A totally poetic book, which portrays the power of imagination that can prosper even in the era of low maintenance and of carefully controlled water use. Totally inspiring

Fantastic Imagery.
Just enough words to tell a story but the images dominate and tell there own tale, something for all seasons that you can get lost in. Quality photographs on quality paper, highly recommend.

Photography was a disappointment
Nice selection of gardens. However the author seems to be only able to take one type of photo ‘garden at dawn with slanting sunlight’. Apart from getting very boring very quickly, this style also made it difficult to identify the plants or structure of the gardens. I learnt nothing from this book. I think Adventures in Eden by Carolyn Mullet is a far better book.

Nice but blurry photographs
I agree with other reviewers that the pictures are blurry which makes it difficult to identify plants, which is a pity because otherwise this would be a really nice book.

Beautiful book, arrived very damaged
Beautiful book, marvelous photos, very inspiring. The book arrived very damaged. If this is what 63 GBP primary delivery means, cant imagine how ordinary delivery works. Very dissapointed
