Beautiful silky threads with Rich, deep colors and a lovely sheen

I have worked with 100% mulberry silk threads and yarns from Japan, so I thought I'd give this one from China a try -- especially since I have seen stunning pictures of Chinese embroidery. Also, the pictures of the skeins looked so nice. However, this is the most frustrating, horrible silk thread I ever worked with. I think I passed the return deadline, and anyway, I had to undo a skein in trying out this nightmare. Yuk!

The colors are beautiful & exactly as shown in picture. I’m new to working with silk thread. I bought this set & the one with more brown colors. This set didn’t feel as soft as the other did. When you squeeze it in your hands, it makes the sound of styrofoam rubbing together. The picture is in order from the not so soft to the softest,starting from the light pink. I will be keeping them & see how they turn out.

Good quality and a lot for the money.

For the price point, not worth it. They’re much different than advertised and I can already see through the packaging that they’re seperated and torn and just horrible quality. Literally so disappointing but glad I only bought one and not the others I had in my cart that I will be removing from my save for later.

Very crisp and dry and sticks to everything. Not that bad to work with once you've gotten it untangled though.

Do not waste your money or time. Quality just isn’t there. Great photos posted, yet, what one receives is just poor quality item/version .

Beautiful super silky thread but good luck trying to unbundle the threads.
