230V TWIN PORTABLE WASHING MACHINE FOR STUDENTS + SPIN FUNCTION + ELECTRIC PUMP DRAIN

I bought this in September 2020. I waited 14 months to write this review.ProsThe machine is powered by electricity and I use it in my tiny bathroom.The drainage system is also powered by electricity so you don't have to ise gravity to empty it out (at least not that much- see Cons)I love the spin dryer. The spin dryer is not an actual dryer but it does spin your clothes so that it does not take long at all for them to dry when hung out. After using the spin dryer, the clothes are dryer than when damp.You can rinse your clothes with fresh washe whilst they are in the spin dryer because there is a water inlet for it ( so the machine has one inlet each for the spin and wash drums).The washing drum is a decent size. It can comfortable accommodate sheets - I put a maximum of two single ot double fitted sheets to prevent too much tangling (see cons) It can also accommodate plenty of shirts etc. The spin dryer can accommodate much less but it's not a problem.The machine as a whole is adequate for a single person or a couple, so it's perfect for students or renters who don't or can't have a plumbed in washing machine.The quality of the wash is superb. It's quite a powerful little machine and washes my clothes really well ..much cleaner than when I use a machine at the laundrette. They smell fresher too!There are separate dials for the wash (max 15 mins), spin (max 5 mins), and the drain function.There are two wash modes: normal and gentle. The gentle mode is not that much different from the normal mode but my sweaters/ knits have always come out undamaged and unstretched.There is a lint collector which a lot of portable washing machines do not have.ConsThe water inlet pipe is very flimsy and fell apart when I initially used it but the seller was quick to send a replacement. You may need to replace it with a sturdier one. That being said, I've been using the same flimsy one since 2020.Although you can use both the spin and wash functions simultaneously, I would advise against it. The machine is not as effective...it seems to affect the drain function of both the spin and washing sides of the machineThe drain function can be a little temperamental. For example, of you drain the washing drum before using the skin cycle, the spinning drum will not drain or wring out the clothes if you use it immediately after. So I always wash, spin and then drain the washing drum. Works well that way.The spin drum. After about six months of use, the spin drum will sometimes not wring the clothes. But a which turn of the washing machine dial to 1 min on seems to fix this weird quirk.Leakage..the machine wash motion is quite strong so you need to make sure that you don't overfill the drum woth water otherwise it will leak from the lid.Overall, I Al very pleased with this ourchase.So 14 months later, it is still going strong.I will be uploading pictures at a later date.

The media could not be loaded.  I bought this washing machine as a standby to help with the little bits as we have a large family and there was always washing waiting for the automatic which takes far too long. As we have a baby it’s always on.Predominantly used for underwear socks And light cotton items this machine washes really well. As it has a built in pump it makes emptying very easy. The spinner Takes a lot of water out of the clothes which then take next to no time to dry.Makes washing easier to clear but you do have a bit of manual work to do as you need to rinse the items. I took them out, spun water back into machine for next load rinsedbin the sink twice and used fabric conditioner then spun again and dried on my clothes horse. Job done in a morning.The tub is large and would take a bath towel or a quilt cover with ease but I don’t intend to use it for that as favour the automatic for that!It’s not too noisy and does a reverse wash rather than just one way.Bad bits are it leaks like a sieve around the top of the washer and splashes out on the floor so I moved it to the shower tray and used on an extension lead. I can live with that for the small amount of items it will do a week.

The media could not be loaded.  The portable washing machine is brilliant people who do not have plumbing or are in temporary accommodation and I don’t have the expenses of Laundrette.The perfect way to save money and washes the clothes will do well as being very quick and not noisy.Would really recommend this product it is not able to wash a lot of clothes in one time but enough for small household. quality of the wash is dependent on the powder of what is used. The spin dryer works really really well and works very efficiently. Really happy with the product

I bought this as I live in a studio flat with no plumbing for an automatic washing machine. I was undecided between this and many other similar products on the market, I chose this one due to the presence of a draining motor rather than just gravity. It was slightly dearer than the gravity but I feel this has been money well spent. The motor allows me to drain the water upwards into my kitchen sink rather than having to drain it into the shower tray, which makes it much more convenient.The washer itself works fantastically, I think my clothes come out cleaner than they do in an automatic washer and it’s much much faster. It’s slightly more effort than an automatic but barely so. I use liquid detergent as I think it dissolves more successfully and i pump water into the spinner for 30 seconds in order to rinse the clothes. The spinner is amazing and it almost dries the clothes completely. Very easy to dry afterwards.It’s quite small but it’s more adequate for one person household, unless you let your washing pile up!I think they’re this is well worth the money and highly recommend. It was delivered very quickly and perfectly in tact. Some of the tubing seems a little thin and flimsy but it serves it’s purpose and they’re easy to replace if need be.Overall a great product in my opinion.
