Great wrestling shoes.
My 13-year-old has wrestled in them since September 5 days a week the pictures are from December 5th 2024. We waited to do a review to see if they would hold up to the test. These shoes are lightweight, flexible, comfortable, stylish and have great quality. The only problem we have noticed was about 5 weeks in the words VENOM On the out side of the shoe has started coming off and the pictures show what I'm speaking of. Hope the review helps you choose the right shoe for your wrestler.

For men too!! Venum for the win
I usually wear men's size 10 (eu 44). I got these in size 10 and the inside tag says eu 43 and the fit perfectly. They're absolutely gorgeous in person. I have standard feet (not wide nor flat foot). They are comfortably snug and hands down beat Hyabusa so far, my toes go just shy of the very end of the shoe. They offer traction how you need it for boxing. The side of my foot does NOT slide over the sole during my maneuvers (hyabusa is famous for that flaw due to the fabric allowing too much stretch/flex) and this is probably because of the extra support on the outside of the foot and a more structured material vs hyabusa. I feel secure during manuevers and they have the perfect amount of friction to allow perfect pivots (Ive had issues with adidas and wrestling shoes gripping TOO much and not allowing a good pivot which i acknowledge was the intention of those kinds of shoes and my stupidity of buying them for boxing when i was first starting years ago). My feet did not get hot during training. I've only worn them for a couple hours of training so far but I'll be sure to update this review when they're older and more worn in.Update: been over a year and they're still holding up great! (I train 2hrs a week for reference)

Great shoes
Not only if these used shoes look fantastic, but they are also pretty hearty. Unfortunately, after about seven months of really hard use, we needed to order a replacement pair. However, the fit on them and the way my daughter is able to wrestle in them is phenomenal. She literally spent hours upon hours in them. First thing to go is the inside. Eventually, the rubber, our souls on the bottom got worn down as well. But she loved the fit of them and the wide toe box. They also look pretty sick with the snake head. BBB she got a lot of compliments on these shoes and she won a lot of matches in these shoes.

Finally found a comfortable pair
I had a bit of trouble trying to find some boxing/wrestling shoes with different manufacturers. With others, they were often very narrow, even for the wide version, and i couldn't even find the extra wide option in amazon. So I was a bit worried that it would be the same case here. However, I was pleasantly surprised how well they fit, and how comfortable they are. They feel very light, and have good grip.I'll make an update down the line to talk about the durability

Cheaply Made Chinese Import Repping a Major Brand Name
I'm a professional wrestler and I bought a pair of these for use during shows. I trust Venum as a brand and assumed the quality of these shoes would be up to par with what I've come to expect.I've worn them twice, for a total of about six hours, and in that time, the stitches on one of the shoes already are coming undone.Additionally, instead of using red paint or rubber on the shoes, the makers opted to use a cheap red sticker on top of blue rubber. Wrestling shoes, as I'm sure you can guess, take a beating, and the stickers aren't designed with durability in mind. On the second use, the one of the stickers wore right through. This poses a particular problem for me, because presentation is everything in the world of pro wrestling. As of right now, I'm never wearing these shoes outside of show days, and I will be sure to double check where future shoes are sourced from, regardless of the brand.
