Ginsey Home Solutions Elongated Resin Toilet Seat, Silver Foil

I've been waiting decades for a fancy resin toilet. Since I first saw them well over a decade ago. Finally they are affordable and available on Amazon. I was concerned about the hardware after reading a few reviews but it seems plenty sturdy and who can beat the fabulous silver flakes embedded in a clear form! A thrown meant for a Queen! FABULOUS!

Just as I expected: Clean, elegant look

I made sure that I ordered the correct size, and this definitely said it was the “Elongated” 18.5 inch size in the description, and also on the box it says “Elongated 18.5 inch, but whoever packed this must have accidentally put a regular size 16.5 inch seat inside this box by mistake? What happened to the elongated 18.5 inch version that I was supposed to receive? I need to return this one and try to find another elongated one. 🙄As far the seat itself goes, I have only positive things to say about it-it seems very well made and feels sturdy, but looks so Glam, that is the main reason why I wanted it in the first place!

The only reason I'm keeping this is, frankly, I'm too lazy to hassle with returning it. The box I got was obviously the same box the last unhappy consumer had returned it in, poorly taped back together. The supports that hold the seat off the rim of the bowl have some sticky white substance that so far has resisted every cleaning product I've used to try to remove it. It is somewhat noticeable through the clear seat so I'll probably end up scraping it off with a razor. It says that the silver flecks are foil and somehow I was picturing something more like Christmas tinsel, but no, it really looks like the aluminum foil in your kitchen. The clear material is also just a teeny bit cloudy which distracts from the looks. This was an expensive mistake that I'll likely rectify by replacing it within the next year. I will not purchase from this vendor again and I hope this review will discourage someone else from making the same mistake.

thought it would be a clear color but had a lot of cream throught it

I perchased this toliet seat 7 years ago never had a problem. When I brought my new home I wanted the same ones again. The foil print goes well with my fixturesThanks again Amazon! Your companynever let's me down !!

After only 3 years the chrome fixture cracked and broke.In addition, almost from the very beginning the "chrome" metal fixture rusted and kept releasing small dark metal flakes with each seat movement.
