If you are looking for a comfortable, well made, lighted magnifying headset, look no further. I bought these to replace a non-lighted headset with a couple not-so-easily interchangeable lenses. The Yoctosun magnifiers are so much better. The set comes with 5 crystal clear lenses that are very easy to interchange. The added light feature is very useful. I’m finding the headset to be very comfortable - solid but not too heavy. I use them for many tasks but primarily for setting strings to specific heights on my acoustic guitars. I use the higher magnification lenses and that requires that my eyes be only about 3 inches from the strings, which is fine for the work I do. If you use the lowest power, the working distance is more like 12”, and they would function essentially as reading glasses. At the higher magnification I imagine these glasses would be excellent for coin and stamp collectors. I highly recommend these magnifiers.

These glasses have been amazing. I purchased them for a friend who had lost sight in one eye and has poor vision in the other. She is as n artist and struggled with the loss of her ability to create. I found these glasses a year ago and they truly changed her world. She uses them daily to work on projects, read and do a number of small tasks that were difficult or impossible for her before. I've never enjoyed giving a gift more! I would recommend these glasses for anyone that needs help seeing small print or detailed work. The glasses have a built in light that is adjustable and easy to charge. The five different lenses are easy to change when you need to adjust the magnification. Buy these glasses! It can be a game changer!

There are a few tasks I do where I'm working with something small and thought I should get something with magnification and lighting. I read a few reviews of the Yoctosun Magnifying Glasses with Light and thought that they'd filled the bill. I received them within in a day of ordering them, and tried them out reading the instructions for another product that I had ordered that had small print. The LED light works as I'd hoped and has two brightness settings. The frames come with five different sets of lenses with different magnification from 0.75X to 4X and are easily swapped. The only problem that I see is that when using the higher magnification lenses, the item being viewed has to be held very close in order for it to be in focus. With the 4X lenses the instructions I was reading had to be barley more than an inch from my nose to be in focus. At this distance my eyes almost didn't want to focus. I wear prescription glasses, tri-focals, and I found it worked better when I used the magnifying glasses in from of my glasses. This allowed me to hold the item I was viewing a litter further away from my face to have it in focus. There wasn't any problem using them in this manner, they fit easily over my prescription glasses. With the lenses being able to be removed, the frames can be used by themselves to provide lighting. This by itself will be a big help viewing items up close. The additional magnification might come in handy, we'll see, but I don't know that it will be necessary to use the higher magnification lenses.

I bought these for my mother who has macular degeneration. She is still able to drive during the day to give a point of reference as to how severe her sight is. These glasses have helped her so much with being able to read recipes, news, labels etc. Having the light and ability to change degrees of magnification work very well. I used them when working on an intricate model and they were a life saver!

I went to remove the lens and it broke in half. A great pair of magnifying glasses. The charge for the light tast for awhile. The lenses are so clear that I can read small letters on the tv, 6' away. I probably have to replace the entire set, just for one set of lenses.

My husband has macular degeneration and has an extremely difficult time reading and using the computer. I bought these glasses for him last year and he uses them constantly. He likes them so much that I just purchased a second pair for him so he can keep one upstairs and one downstairs. With 5 different strengths, he can pick whichever is best for the size of print he is trying to read. He also uses them when doing small detail work. The light makes it much easier to see, giving contrast between the paper and print.

Must buy for near vision home reading /crafts and browsing use!!!

Excellent, I have macular degeneration, and a light is a must to read. When engaged in 2 handed, sewing, crafts, etc, this is invaluable. Really Made life so much easier, accessible and comfortable. Charges very quickly, I cannot praise enough.

I don`t usually leave reviews on things i buy from Amazon. Reason being as generally they are cheap items so expectations are not high to begin with.However with these i am genuinely impressed! They are perfect for what I need. Unfortunately the time comes when we cannot see small details as well as we could and it makes things like changing watch batteries or adjusting small screws etc way harder than it used to be. With these I can now do the jobs i have been putting off like trying to repair the kids PS controllers. Very happy with these and would defo recommend.

They are easy to use and the central light bar really helps. I would definitely recommend purchasing this set.
