Amazing
FIRST IMPRESSION!This product is amazing, I am a first time user for dehumidifier never had one before, so I have decided to give it a go after a couple friends raving how amazing this is and let me tell you they were RIGHT!Very easy set up and the noise is not that loud imagine yourself on a Holiday with the AC on that is about the noise it makes on sleep mode on a normal mode the sound bumps up a bit due to the fan being on high and still the noise is bearable. What I like about this machine is that actually measure the humidity in the room before kick starting and OMG my room humidity was on 81 after switching on and within an hour it drop down to 71 bearing in mind I never had dehumidifier in the room before so I am sure it will take a little longer for me opposed to someone who has been using it before, within 1 hour the thank was almost full and the air in my room felt crispy dry and clean J the condensation on the windows gone… I have an en-suite shower and within 5 minutes of me finishing my shower guess what it was dry, no humidity no fog nothing gone gone humidity. The light still on red but humidity drop down to 67 bearing in mind I did switched off as the timer was set to 2H.. I cannot wait for the room the be at my desired humidity wich is 45 – 50.Cannot wait to explore the different setting and in different rooms, I must say I want one in every single room … J it is worth your money, the machine is sturdy and heavy not flimsy at all, and guess what is not a huge unit it is just the right size to be put away in a wardrobe or under stairs storage totally worth the money guys, I will be leaving another review once I fully used all the settings.

Worth the little extra.
I think like most households in the UK my home suffered from humidity problems in late Autumn hence the explosion in the sale of dehumidifiers. Luckily I searched Amazon during Black Friday and managed to buy this dehumidifier at a good price, although possibly with sales dropping I noticed it is still on a discount at the time writing. This humidifier is one of the larger domestic types on sale offering a full 20 litres a day, twice many of the others on sale at not too of an increase in price. The with it’s digital controls making it simple and straightforward to use setting up took seconds. The unit has a double drainage system either via the supplied drainage tube or into it large tank which at 4 litres is again one of the largest on offer, having used the tank for drainage throughout my home I haven’t managed to fill the tank once although coming close several times. One point about the tank, allow the unit to fully drain into the tank before trying to empty it otherwise you may spill a small amount of water as it settles on the top of the tank and takes a few minutes to drain. The control as well as a fully automatic setting you have settings for a night mode and clothes dryer, both useful, as well as humidity and fan settings a timer and a child lockOnce starting the unit and setting the required humidity at 50% it took under an hour to take a medium sized room down from the original indicated humidity of 76% to it settings. The unit it well designed looking good in any location, both the water tank and the air filters are easy to clean and drain, and it’s power consumption although probably more that it’s smaller rivals it uses the same electricity as two or three light bulbs. All in all a very good solution to any humidity problem and worth the little extra.

Dehumidifier
Instruction booklet useless . Had to figure out how to use it by trial & error. Had to contact supplier for further clarification. I use it in my conservatory when drying clothes and it is very good. I am amazed how much water it collects and does speed up the drying process. Also I use it on damp days to keep conservatory dry

This is the one.
You can stop your search right now, this is the dehumidifier you need to order!I don't have a particularly damp house as its a new-build, but the recent weather here in Ireland of virtually non-stop rain for months has seen the outside humidity levels, now that autumn has arrived, not really dropping much below 70% for many weeks now.As a result, inside humidity is also hovering around 70% and because of the constant rain, we can't air the house by opening windows as it would make things worse. Also, not helped is the drying of clothes indoor, the plethora of houseplants to make a better environment for us, and the fact I use the steam oven to bake bread every weekend, the levels of humidity would only ever go up.So it was time to sort the problem once and for all.We searched Amazon and local stores for something for a couple of weeks before the Black Friday deals hit. We saw offers come and then disappear before we could order them, several good offers weren't available to ship to Ireland (so much for my Prime membership, now cancelled), and many more just not man enough to do the job (small €50 units). But one did stand out; this one. Our house being a total of 2500sq/ft the description seemed to suggest it was more than just adequate, but my job sees me questioning all such claims. The good part is the free returns to Amazon, so if it did not match up to the claims, I could return it for a full refund. So it arrived. Well packed (a sealed box inside an Amazon box). It was simplicity itself to get going, just 60 seconds before it was in a state to be plugged in. I waited the recommended hour before doing so, but when I did fire it up for the first time, I must admit to being rather underwhelmed. However, I should not have worried.Noise levels - About that of a fridge and a fan combined, but not loud. I don't think you could sleep with it on, but the point is you don't need it on for long.Running costs - Its a compressor dehumidifier, so not cheap. It uses something in the region of 250 Watts, but again, you don't need to run it 24/7.Settings - Various settings are available, but the most useful is a target setting. Dial in say 55% humidity and it will run until it reaches the target before turning off the compressor. There is timer settings and various manual settings, but better to leave it on target mode in my opinion.Water tank - Big enough for daily use, but the machine will turn off before it overflows. An option of constant drain via a hose is available, hose is included. In about 2 hours, I had a litre of water in the tank and the humidity levels had dropped from 70% to 60% throughout the house. I have an Ecowitt Weather Station when the inside unit shows internal and external humidity levels plus Tapo Temp and Humidity Sensors controlling radiator Smart TRVs telling me I now have humidity levels under control. After the initial hour, I run the unit for maybe an hour each day to keep it that way.On Saturday's when I wash and bake, I move the dehumidifier into the kitchen area and leave it on all day. This day I empty the tank maybe twice! The dehumidifier in the kitchen helps to keep the humidity levels low in the rest of the house. The point of all this is long-term health of both us and the house. I worry all the time about mould growth where we cannot see it (behind wardrobes etc.) The dehumidifier really does make a difference to the feel of the house. It feels warmer at a lower temperature than it did when humidity levels were high, plus it seems to heat faster than before. If I had any negatives, I would say the instruction manual needs a bit of attention. The Mode Button is not explained well. The manual describes the modes, but doesn't say which mode is which icon. It just needs someone to re-write it with a fresh pair of eyes. But for both functionality and form, I give it 5+ stars. As long as it lasts for a few years, I cannot see that changing. It's a very efficient dehumidifier and really can do what it says on the tin.
