The heavy, hardwired battery pack kills this.
Some genius somewhere invented some new kind of neon light and it's awesome.Then some non-genius had the idea of attaching a very heavy battery pack halfway down the line of the USB cableThen some other very non-genius had the idea of putting the power switch on that box and making it hardwired so you can't take it off.And now it pulls down really hard on the light, even if there are no batteries in it, and the cable is really thin and it feels like it's going to rip the wires out of their solder joints.And I'm pretty sure I ordered the purple and blue version, not the yellow and blue.The neon light aspect is still awesome. It's beautiful, lights up a room, and runs on only 5 volts. If you think you might like a neon light like this, then you probably would. You'll know right away if you would because it's exactly as awesome as it appears. You should get one, but not this one. The stupid, heavy, ugly, hardwired battery pack makes this sign very hard to work with.
