they are very fresh when you receive them, BUT i think some are missing out of the bag they go so fast. Just joking - i can't resist grabbing a handful every time i head out the door to snack on. The zip lock bag they come in helps to keep them fresh and soft. This is not the first bag I've purchased, nor will it be the last one.
