Excellent anchor for jetski.

I got this to replace the old and well-worn anchor for my 18-ft powerboat. 30 lbs is a good size – heavy enough to keep my boat in place, without being so heavy that I can’t pick up up, lower it over the bow, and eventually retrieve it.I like that it is solid iron covered with protective bright blue vinyl coating. The top screw-in galvanized shackle is included.I like this so much, I got a smaller "mini-me" version for my stern anchor. It weighs only 8 lbs, and I throw it off the stern when I'm pulled up to the beach to keep the boat in place. They're doing a good job for me and I think they look great as well.

Great anchor Madewell does a job will last a long time

First time using this anchor. Used In the river bank where there was no current. When I pulled the anchor up only thing came up was the rope and u ring. The anchor was at the bottom of the river and unable to find. Need to upgrade the u-ring and bolt so it doesn’t come undone. I put lock-tight on bolt but still came undone:(

It sinks to the bottom of the lake, but be sure to tie the rope to it and then to your boat.

Was worried I might get this snagged and lose her in the rocks but she worked well. Great in the sandy muddy areas too. Perfect weight for a 17 ft flat stern fishing canoe. Held great near the Chats Falls dam in Fitzroy harbour
