HALT 91427 Dog Spray, Red

I bought a couple cans of Halt back in 2020 AFTER a dog attack on my dog and I. I never had used either can all these years (it is now 2025). Someone new moved into the neighborhood that I walk my dog in and their dog keeps jumping the fence and getting out. This new dog has bitten two other dogs in my neighborhood and has approached my dog a few times but the dog was ok. This morning however, the dog came charging full speed at my dog and I. Luckily I had brought my HALT dog spray on the walk. When the dog was 2 feet from my dog, I sprayed the dog with my can of HALT. (Thank goodness the can still worked after all these years of never using it!) Thank you HALT for your product. You saved my dog and myself from injury!IT WORKED! The dog did a quick reversal and walked away!

Haven’t used yet but keep in purse or pocket when walking. I was attacked by 2 dogs that ran from across the street and jumped on me (a ridgeback and boxer). The owner tried to call them back but they didn’t listen so I carry this spray now in case this happens again. I spoke with animal control and she supported my decision to carry this.

I carried this for years when I was reading electric meters and always in people's yards. I probably had to spray 5-10 dogs over about 5 years. It's not overly strong but will slow the dog enough for you to get to safety. No long term harm to the dog and it can just be washed off. Sprays in a stream so you don't have to worry about the wind blowing it back in your face like the ones that mist more.

If you want a wonderful and effective way to keep mean unleashed dogs away from you, you need to get this product! I've been carrying it around with me when we walk, which is every day, and thankfully I've only had to use it once but it worked amazingly well!! It does exactly what it says it will do - it shoots out in a stream and not a spray, so you're not affected by it - just the dog! And it stopped the dog in its tracks and it ran away from me. There's a leash law in our area, but it seems like no dog owners care about it - or their pet - so I would HIGHLY recommend this product!

Conveniently hangs on my belt for quick access! I’ve had to use it a couple of times for dogs. After one spray all I have to do is reach for it and the dogs back away. Great for walking through the neighborhood with too many dogs not being controlled by owners.

This stuff saved me and my dog today. A large dog was coming towards us and after spraying he immediately ran away and was rolling around in a neighbors grass trying to wipe its face off. I know some reviews mention this not being effective but it saved me and my dog today so I’ll be repurchasing.

Did not come in original package. don't know if it was used or returned. leary of what I received. sprays only about 6 feet. is very irritating.
