We've had these Fire 7 Kids tablets for over a year now—actually bought three, one for each of my kids.I mostly use them for moments when I need them to be calm—like eating at restaurants or during long car rides—and it works every time. And honestly, they’ve been a lifesaver.My toddlers are super active (and let’s be real, a little rough with their stuff), but these tablets have held up really well.What I love the most is that as a parent, I have full control over what they can access. I set everything up through the Amazon Parent Dashboard and only allow educational games: learning letters, colors, numbers, even some fun drawing apps.They’re really sturdy, easy to manage, and honestly, for the price, I think they’re a great value. Plus, the battery lasts a good amount of time and the storage is decent for what kids need. Definitely a win for any busy parent.

This tablet keeps my daughters busy on games learning and they don’t bother me only when there hungry or need a paper change the tablet was the exact size it’s perfect for watching movies and playing the video games it is a beautiful pink purple color the quality on the movies are so clear and it haves the best app availability the apps don’t freeze they go pretty fast and it connects perfect on the WiFi it is very child protective you allowed what ever app you want in the app.

It's an ok tablet. I will give 5 stars for durability. This thing has been thrown, stepped on, dropped, and spilled on and it continued to live on. The first version we got of this tablet was wonderful. Battery life would last all day. Storage is obviously not that great and after just a few apps, it's full and you need to add an SD card.Speakers are very loud! I like that it has a headphone jack. My son dropped the one we got him into water and the speakers died. Amazon did replace, but it was a bit of a hassle and they did charge us $20 still even though it was supposed to be a no hassle replacement policy.The "upgraded" version they sent us isn't really an upgrade. In fact, the battery lasts about half as long. My son used to play the same apps all day long but now the table is dead by noon every day (we went from a 13 hour battery life to about a 5 hour battery life). It's also pretty slow to charge compared to the last one.It's just as durable as the first, but the battery life being so much shorter has us looking at other options. Plus the content can be pretty limited compared to Android tablets. It's a good first tablet, especially if you have a rough and tumble toddler like I do. That being said, it's a tablet that can be outgrown pretty quickly and can be pretty limited to Amazon only content. I bought Baby Einstein directly through Amazon to put on there and it was still a struggle to get it onto the actual tablet.We also wanted a tablet with AAC capabilities which this tablet seems to be lacking unless you want to pay quite a bit of money for the Amazon specific program. Android has more options for free or cheap AAC functions.

This review is for it's durability. We bought this for xmas and my silly husband lost it within the week. It vanished. We got a 2nd one and within a week I leave my house, I'm driving 35mph when I hear something on my roof and look in my side mirror in time to watch this tablet fly off my car, bounce 3 times and hit the street. Silly husband placed it on the roof when getting the toddler out of my car (now I realize that must have happened to the first one we had). I was able to turn around and retrieve it and NOT ONE SCRATCH OR SCUFF IN SIGHT. This case is absolutely made for these feral toddlers and silly husbands. 10/10 for durability.

It’s a tablet and it entertains and it is easy to set parental controls and it can withstand a significant amount of physical neglect thanks to its case / padded cover. What’s not to love? I got it for a huge discount on Amazon Prime Day, so I couldn’t be happier - BUT it is absolutely something I would have paid full price for, knowing what I know now. Perfect little tablet with just the basics - but bells and whistles can still be added on if you’d like - a great setup geared perfectly toward my son’s age group.
