because I've used better headphones. Then I thought about whether I'd used ...
I was going to give these 4 stars, because I've used better headphones. Then I thought about whether I'd used any as good as this for this money, and the answer is no.The build quality is fantastic at this price, the use of metal, and engineering grade plastics, plus the alleged real leather ear muffs. I have no reason not to believe they are real leather, I have no sense of smell, so can't tell. Whatever it is, it feels lovely, very soft. In general these are very comfortable headphones, they're not that heavy, and can be worn for long periods. They fold up easily and fit in the bag provided. The only cut corner I can see is the connection lead, this is cheap, thin, not braided, or flat to prevent tangling. It works, but it's a shame that there's this one little part that's tacky on these otherwise quality 'phones.Regarding the sound, it is surprisingly neutral and clean. There is none of the bass boom we've come to expect at the budget end of the market. The top notes are reasonably crisp and clear, and the mid range is full and mellow, the bass is more than adequate when needed. In short, good value, recommended

Unwearable.
Comfort:- These are on the ear NOT over the ear as advertised. They HURT! The square padding design simply does not work. I cannot find any way to comfortably wear these for any longer than 2 minutes.Sound quality:- Good, not great but good. Decent bass but don't quite capture the treble. Very little sound leakage so the person sitting next to is very unlikely to be disturbed.Appearance:- Lots of brushed steel look smart but appear very wide and don't sit nicely on your head, They appear to have been designed to fit on a pumpkin.Value:- I bought these for £25.00 which I thought was a bargain as they seem to fluctuate between £30-£40 and they could have been so good but not if you can't wear them for 5 minutes without you ears feeling as though they will burst into flames of pain.Overall:- I wanted to like these so much, a seemingly great value product from a British company, but it is not to be.

He has an iphone with hundreds of his favourite tracks stored on it
Bought these for my old mans birthday. He has an iphone with hundreds of his favourite tracks stored on it. I was initially worried that these would sound like Beat Solos with the same shoddy build quality. Happy to report that this isn't the case. The sound is surprisingly rich with a beautifully warm low end, clear midrange and crisp (slightly rolled off) highs. The build quality is also impressive considering the design. They are easy to adjust and simple to fold up and put away in the included pouch. The detachable cable is also handy as the cable is usually the first thing to go. Although the flat cable that comes with this headphone seems reasonably sturdy. The headphone pieces are well padded and very comfortable on the ears. Unless you have extremely small ears, these will sit on your ear with absolutely no discomfort. The headphone is also quite light (although I'm used to heavier headphones). An all round fantastic pair of headphones and a steal at 40 knicker.

Good, all-round, headphones
These are good, all-round, headphones. They fit comfortably on the head and (so am told) don't leak hiss or that irritating 'te-te-te' sound that emanates from other styles of headphone. There are expansion slides to allow for larger heads, and the tangle-free cord does what it's supposed to.With a good sound reproduction and wide enough Hz range for me, these headphones do a good job. The only ting I would ask Veho to do is to change the ear pad shape/ The square-shaped foam is distinctive but the headphones would fit even better if the cutouts for the ears were round or oval. That a-side, if I needed another set of headphones I would look at Veho products first.

I am seriously impressed with the QUALITY of fit, sound and product finish! It does feel like a £100+ headphone ( when comparing to my JBLs Bose MDR1000s etc) . I bought in error think it is BT headphone. It arrived after 2 other BTs from "Crabot" - the chinese plasticky junks - I quickly fell in love with the Veho from holding it then seeing the special white cable (which btw can be replaced as its a normal 3.5mm cables contrary to some objecters' comments! - see here: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00P33HWD2/ref=sspa_mw_detail_0?psc=1 ). I immediately plug ro my.Galaxy NOTE 8 perfect fit with supplementary 3.5mm cable to the one supplied- it worked beautifully. Next tried to use with tablets, PC, laptop etc it all works. The sounds are equally impressive, clear and pleasing to the ears! This is just an unbelievable price for a distinguishable wired headphone! If available in BT I will definitely buy 2+. I am definitely keeping this and buy one for spare! Buy it and you won't be disappointed 👍😃

Very disappointing. Barely 6months use and same reasons as before!
The sound quality is excellent, second to none. However, I do have to say that, in my opinion, they are not very well made. With the previous pair I bought, the left side of the headstrap snapped, and the two pairs previous to that the spongy covering over the earpieces started to disintegrate and come away from the framework. They do get an awful amount of use though, probably three to four hours nearly every night. The only reason I keep buying this item is because of the superb sound quality at a reasonable price, otherwise I would go elsewhere.

Veho Z8
I discovered Veho headphones around a year ago and I absolutely love them. They look and feel tremendous quality. They have excellent build quality and sound superb. They also have the advantage of being able to fold which is brilliant for me as I am a nightclub DJ and these are easy to pack and they come with their own travel case which is brilliant.I highly recommend these, they are a really top notch set.

Overly heavy and thus uncomfortable to wear except for short periods.
The material covering the foam on one earpiece split after some time exposing the foam padding.
