Great light for the avg consumer
This is a great light for the functionality it provides. I've been a flashlight enthusiast for quite some time and have over 30 lights but this is a very unique and feature rich light. The UV light is awesome and the beam is very useable for my needs. This is a very floody light and I'm sure whoever buys this knows that. This is not a thrower. This is great light for walking the dogs at night, checking your garden, lighting up a dark pathway as you're walking, and etc. The UV, regular light, and magnetic tail is what I'll be using/appreciate the most. The green laser is cool and my dogs have fun with it but that's the extent of usability for my needs. The green laser is strong, bright, and can easily be seen at night. The construction is solid, has good weight, and is pocketable. The only cons I have with this light are:1. I wish the battery was replaceable (e.g. 18650) but I understand that Olight went this route to keep the form factor small.2. Ability to charge this via usb c. Almost everyone now has usb c cables. The only way to charge this is using their supplied MCC magnetic cable. If you lose the cable, you must buy another one.IMO, this is a great EDC light. If you need a light that can reach further distances, then use a different flashlight; different tools for different jobs. One thing I need to mention. Bring a rag and bucket before you start using the UV light.... you'll want to clean whatever filth you have just discovered :)

Like it was made just for me
I have carried the Arkfeld for almost a year and was getting on the Olight website to ask if they could help me upgrade the laser, which is when i found this little gem with a much better laser (though i have to say some 5 microwatt lasers i have are brighter than this one) and it includes a UV light, which is something i use for work often enough. the battery on my Arkfeld is AMAZING! with very light daily use my basic Arkfeld went 10 months without needing a recharge AND the light quality does not seem to be effected by charge (some other flashlights tend to get a little dimmer when batteries are getting lower). I was super excited to see this on Amazon and so far i am very pleased. it is a little bigger, but it is still not the largest flashlight i have tried to carry in my pocket.

Another home run from OLIGHT
I don't know why I even bother writing a review for any OLIGHT products anymore, because I say basically the same thing every time: like every one of my other OLIGHT flashlights, this is yet another high quality, well thought-out, skillfully crafted instrument. The Arkfeld Pro carries almost like a pocket knife -- I didn't realize how much better the boxy shape is over a round barrel for everyday carry! The light is plenty bright for general everyday use, the laser is strong and easy to see even in daylight, and even though I don't have a specific use for the UV, it's cool to have!If you have a job that involves any form of inspection activity, this would be a very useful tool. If you're an everyday-carry enthusiast, this is one to add to the collection for sure.

Lasers!
How neat is this thing? Great battery life. Great magnetic mount charging method. Powerful light. Multiple modes. The dim mode is a bit too dim. Double press for max bright. Turn it off then back on for high brightness, but less blinding then max brightness. Double press on laser mode for laser and light. To prevent it from turning on in your pocket, hold the button while on laser mode with the device off. The laser will come on and go off, this locks the device. To unlock, hold the button while on laser mode again. You also need to unlock it when it first arrives.I would not recommend this for self defense use because the selector adds complexity. For self defense, added complexity isn't desirable in a situation that requires fast reaction. However, the light will blind someone on max brightness. This thing is great for mechanics, construction workers, and anyone that wants to shoot LASERS.

Exceeded expectations!
What a great edc flashlight. You're not going to be overwhelmed by the led but it is plenty bright inside the house and around the yard and walking trails at night. Uv has many uses. Don't use it in your bathroom unless you want to be mortified. Laser is powerful and reaches out 500 yards. But I'm saving the best for last. Have had it 2 months and it's still FULLY CHARGED! Pondering getting another one!

Good features and construction - be sure to read the instructions
This light is of sturdy construction. It's shape makes it easier to carry in a pocket than a comparable round flashlight. The clip is removable and it works to clip with the lens up or down. Despite another review this light is very bright. However when you press the button it comes on in "moonlight" mode. You have to then long press the button to switch to the bright modes. At 1300 Lumens it is brighter than several other larger flashlights I use. The green laser is useful for pointing at objects at least 300 ft away at night and less than than in daylight. The light uses a magnetic disk to charge its battery so there are no port covers to open that would make it less waterproof. DISLIKE that the charger cord has an old USB A male plug. Most everything uses USB-C plugs now to take advantage of more powerful and faster chargers. So you might want to add a USB A to USB C adapter to your order for this light.

Another great light
I own all three versions of the Arkfeld and it’s the primary light that I carry every single day. The other two have retired since I’ve bought this one. It is just far better in every way. I’ve never had any problems with any light I’ve ever bought from Olight including this one. The button and switch are nice and easy to operate. All of the light sources have been upgraded and made brighter. A longer lasting battery. It’s also bigger and feels out my hand much better than the previous versions did. It’s just an all around good little light and worth every penny in my opinion. Especially if you get them on sale.
