Love the texture
I love the texture. It feels great on skin and moisturizing. It reminds me of an expensive-brand cream.

Has retinol - Lacking some vital info
The scent is decent. Reminds me of something I used in the past like hand soap or a hair product. It’s light, feminine and floral. It lingers on the skin for a while. I prefer scented creams that dissipate quickly especially when it’s on my face. My skin feels soft, non-pilling, non-irritated, and non-sticky. I would say it is a silky-satin finish. It has a little bit of sheen and feels a little bit oily but it doesn’t last long. I noticed that as I am massaging it on my face it sometimes becomes watery. Maybe that's the salt melting. I never felt a cream being watery and oily at the same time. The cream is opaque white. It’s thick! It is absorbent and easy to spread though. I don’t think I ever had a consistency like this before. You can see the cream popping up from the jar in my photo. The jar is transparent glass and the lid is wooden. It looks simplistic and cute. It’s only 1oz, which is 30ml. Smaller than the average. It’s made in Israel by the way, if you haven’t noticed in the title.I looked up the ingredients on their website and I wonder if it’s correct. I don’t see fragrance listed in the ingredients so that means the scent is coming from natural origin (the extracts I assume). I’m surprised there’s retinol in here. I thought my skin would be irritated by it but it seems ok so far. My main complaint with this cream is that it didn’t come with any seal or box. Nothing whatsoever. Hopefully it'll be different for paying customers. It also lacks vital information. At least it’s 2023 and we can easily look up the ingredients online. I am taking the risk and will continue using it since I’m kind of desperate for a solution.I didn’t want to order more skincare, but I saw this cream has Dead Sea minerals and that’s something I haven’t had the chance to try. Now it’s my opportunity. I have troubled/acne-prone skin and heard that the salts could help with that. I don’t have much faith in most skincare since I have been disappointed so many times. I’m at the point where if it feels good and doesn't worsen my skin then I’m happy. I will update my review in the future if necessary.-Directions: Apply to clean skin each morning. To intensify the absorption of collagen by the skin, massage the cream into the skin in gentle circular motions. Use daily for maximum benefit.-Ingredients:aqua, cetearyl alcohol, cera alba, plantago major extract, camelia sinensis extract, urtica dioica extract, rhamnus purshiana extract, lactic acid, maris sal (dead sea salts), retinol (vitamin a), tocopheryl acetate (vitamin e), magnesium ascorbyl phosphate, dehydroacetic acid, lecithin, dipalmitoyl hydroxyproline, phenoxyethanol, tall oil, linoleic acid, tocopherol, sodium ascorbate, hydrolyzed collagen

Dead Sea Minerals & Collagen Restoring Face Cream - Made In Israel - QR code provides info
I received a 1 fluid ounce glass jar of Salt Cellar Spa Dead Sea Minerals & Collagen Restoring Facial Cream, sans box or consumer safety seals, but the product did appear to be new and unused. The jar/label itself does not provide much information, however if you scan the QR code on the base of the jar it links you to all product info, directions, ingredients and company details. I have not encountered many facial/body care products that don't include the typical and even expected aforementioned information, however I suppose QR codes are going to become increasingly more prevalent, so perhaps sadly, we should all become familiar and accustomed to the use. This cream is made in Israel and apparently imported by The Salt Cellar, located in the US, Portsmouth NH and Portland, ME. According to their website, after touring Eastern Europe they became interested in all kinds of salt based bath, facial, body, healing and food products and now offer quite a variety. The ingredients include a number of botanical extracts, plus dead sea minerals, hydrolyzed collagen, retinol, vitamin E, moisturizers and more. The directions say to apply each morning and to increase collagen absorption massage into the skin using circular motions.I have mature, somewhat sensitive, combination skin, with a very pale Celtic complexion. This facial cream is quite thick, but applies easily. For me it absorbed well and left my skin feeling smooth and silky. Also, the product did not irritate my redness prone cheeks.Other reviewers mentioned a scent, however the ingredient list includes no fragrance, so I believe any scent is due to botanicals in the formula. For me the scent is not an issue. It seemed quite subtle and after a few minutes I no longer noticed it. I much prefer a natural botanical fragrance to a bunch of added chemicals, that's for sure, however for those who only use unscented products this may be an issue.I plan the use this cream daily, as part of my routine. I deducted one star for lack of consumer safety seal of any kind and for me at least, the cost does seem a bit high for a one ounce product.

Heavy, thick and doesn't absorb
I have many questions about this day cream. First, the jar came in a bubble mailer without any other packaging. It was loose inside the mailer. No box, plastic bag or outer seal. There's a removable, plastic cover inside the jar. It appears to be fine, but I'd prefer additional packaging to ensure the integrity of the product.Secondly, the ingredients list is missing from the product description on Amazon, on the manufacturer website and the jar itself. I sent a request to the company directly through their website, but I haven't received a reply yet.The cream is extremely thick, dense and rich. Highly emollient. It is supposed to be a day cream, but I highly doubt it has sunscreen which is an absolute must for me when it comes to that. It is better suited (at least for me) to be used as an overnight mask. It doesn't absorb into my skin, rather it feels much more like a barrier cream which sits on top. It's somewhat greasy and would be best for extremely DRY skin. I would not recommend this for oily skin.It is fragranced (soapy scent) and mildly irritating when first applied (tingling sensation) which concerns me. Mainly, due to the lack of product information, product packaging and the other concerns listed above, I wouldn't recommend this.
