Ingredients listed are: Salt (70%), Wheat Flour, Flavour Enhancers (621, 635, 327), Wheat Starch, Onion Powder, Sugar, Maltodextrin (from corn and tapioca), Food Acids (330), Anticaking Agent (341), Flavours, Spice, Beef Fat, Bell Pepper Powder, Herbs, Soy Sauce Powder, Seasoning, Caramel Colour (150c). How much sodium per serving?

This is seasoning so it's difficult to define a 'serving size' as individual tastes vary. I can tell you that the ingredients list 70% salt in the product and can also tell you that this is the best chicken or seasoned salt I have ever used! Thank you for your question. Regards - Zoe MAZCOM

I heard that it expires quickly?

Yes, the expiration date is less than one year. I purchased in January 2021, it expired in October 2021. I still intend to use mine, I looked at the ingredients and it appears to be similar to a seasoning salt. Full disclosure, depending on the seasonings that I use, many I use past the expiration date and the flavor is the same…. I hope this helps!

It pretty much is nothing more than MSG. However, the whole MSG fear and phobia is nonsense. Yeah, it's funny how MSG, or monosodium glutamate, has been made out to be some kind of culinary boogeyman. The fear-mongering around it would make you think it's straight-up poison. Peer-reviewed research, including investigations by the FDA, have combed through all the available evidence. And guess what they found? MSG is safe for consumption. Not just safe - it's officially listed as GRAS, which stands for "Generally Recognized As Safe". That's like the FDA's seal of approval. There's no solid link between MSG and those alleged adverse effects. It's interesting when folks go off about MSG being some kind of man-made monstrosity. But here's the kicker - glutamate, which is the 'G' in MSG, is as natural as rain. This little guy is found in all sorts of food we adore. I'm talking tomatoes, cheeses, meats - you name it. You're gulping down more glutamate with a bowl of tomato soup or a slice of cheese than you'd get from MSG. If you personally find that you're sensitive to MSG or any other food, absolutely consult with your healthcare provider.

Great added flavour for your meals

Bought this as i heard from a work colleague who once stayed in Australia about this (never knew you could get this) and have to say that we really like it! It can give your chips an even better flavour and seems to be lasting quite a while which is even better.

Not much time before it’s out of date ever though the price is sky high

Item only has a few months left before it’s out of date which is highly disappointing regarding the price. Think the seller must be laughing. The last 3 times Iv purchased chicken salt Iv never paid over 10pounds and it’s had ages left before it gose out of date
