These are super and work great. I did have to open up the hole for my battery terminals. The heat shrink makes it look reall professional.

Very well made and heat shrink insulators in red and black come with it. Looks very professional when done.

I used these for some 8 gauge CCA subwoofer cabling. The CCA cable tends to expand once it's stripped, making it difficult to get the whole wire into the terminal. I was able to pinch and pull (not twist! It expands the cable) the end of the wire into the terminals with enough fiddling. If you lose one or two strands, send it.They work well, seem of decent quality, and look good, but they would not crimp fully with some regular 8 gauge battery cable crimpers. I had to break out the regular wire crimpers and use the same part of the tool I usually save for small butt connectors.That, and the provided heat shrink is too small; I saved it for other projects but used the Spoby heat shrink assortment I have to insulate them. I give them 4 stars for those reasons.

When purchasing electrical components online, where one can't visually look at what they're actually buying, it's easy for many sellers to overrate the product. Too many times the innocent buyer doesn't realize the product they are buying has a great potential to cause a fire if it isn't made to do the job it was purchased to do. Working with solar power has taught me the importance of using terminals that are made to allow the uninterrupted flow of electricity by using proper connections. Many of the products I find online are cheaply made in China and cause resistance to the current. Resistance causes heat and heat causes fire. These terminals, in my opinion, are about as good as any you can find and are made with heavy tinned copper which will carry the full current allowed by the 10AWG wire they are cold connected to. I recommend these terminals over all others I have found on Amazon.

The 8 gauge wire fits perfect into the connector. They problem I had was the eyelet hole is quite small for use of 8 gauge wire. I bought them for a ground wire and I struggled to find a bolt that was small enough to fit through the eyelet.

You will need a hydraulic crimper. Fit on my 4 guage power wire really well
