Art Wolfe. What more do you need to say.This is a monumental book and achievement and if you're getting one from this artist, I'd say this is The One.

Arrived prior to Christmas. Amazon price about $25 less than retail. Art Wolfe is a well-known wildlife photographer, and Wild Lives shows why he has such a strong reputation. Crisp, clear photos of animals in their habitats. Book is arranged by habitats—Arctic Tundra, Alpine, Oceanic Islands, Tropical Seas, Polar Seas, etc. So many stand-out photos including an Emperor Penguin family, a Grizzly Bear going after salmon, zebras drinking at a pool (and not just zebra butts like many photographers get), a Snow Leopard. The photos are absolutely stunning.

Fantastic photos. Text informative although sometimes unnecessarily pretentious. DOES NOT WORK ON KINDLE. If you’re gonna sell a book on kindle it needs to work better than this. Very frustrating.

This very heavy, expensive, beautiful large book arrived after two weeks in a thin plastic bag. No box, no cardboard corners to protect it, no bubbles. nothing. The book hard cover has the four corners bent and the back hard cover ripped at the top. A shameful packaging. I returned it. Don' t buy from SuperBookDeals seller.

Art Wolf's latest work "Wild Lives" is another trip into the world of wild creatures. It is not a light weight read once and forget volume. It will be a treasure in anyone's collection of wildlife images.
