It will resolve your Dyson Overheating Problem
My wife runs a salon and was complaining about her Dyson blow dryers started overheating. Since Im a mechanic, the wife wanted me to look at it. After looking them over, their inside intake screen has tiny holes that need to be cleaned out really well, or the dryer will be starved of circulating air over the heating element and it will overheat. The holes are smaller than other blow dryers, so they clog with hair products and then overheat. A simple search found this cleaning tool and replacement intake cover which I think is built better than the Original Equipment in the blow dryer. If you have overheating issues, this kit will solve the problem! Good luck!

Falls off constantly
It appears to fit at first but when using the blow dryer the filter falls off. It doesn’t click into place properly. I tried two and both had the same issue. Would not recommend.

Exactly what I was looking for! Great buy for my Dyson

Easy to use
The filter cage is easy to put on and easy to remove so that you can clean all the dust out of it better. I did have to cut off my original one because that one wasn't easy to remove.

It's a cheap fix - you get what you pay for
Firstly, clipping it together was very tricky and I was concerned that it would snap.Secondly, ignore lining up the dots because they don't align when it's tight in position.Thirdly it's thinner and the holes are smaller - not sure if this will affect the air flow.On the plus side, no wires had to be removed and I didn't have to pay lots of money. The round filter brush is excellent quality though. It's not the best but it just about works.
