I must be honest and say that I have never actually washed a pair of these shoe inserts. After they have become used up, I throw them away and put in a new pair. But having said that, these are so comfortable and they absorb very well and are very soft. They last far longer than the equivalent Dr. Scholl's brand insert that you trim to fit your shoe. I wear a size 7, and I bought the size 7 and it fit perfectly in my shoe, no trimming necessary. They have a rubber backing which I supposed does offer a little support in a roundabout way. I use them in slip on shoes that I wear without socks. They do not work in my opinion if you want to place them on top of an arch support insert. So mainly, I use them for slip on tennis shoes, and shoes I wear around the house. They are cotton so they absorb sweat and don't stick to the bottom of your feet, as the Dr Scholl's equivalent inserts do. They also do not shred as they get older. They stay intact to the rubber bottom, which is just a very thin piece of rubber to be clear.I always say that I'm going to wash this next pair I put in to my shoes, but generally I never get around to it, and once the surface has worn, smooth, I will replace them with a new pair. You're paying the same price as you would for Dr. Scholl's but getting a far better product.

i have been on a forever search for great shoe inserts and am SO happy i found these! they are so soft and cushiony, fit perfectly, and stay in place. they come in a pack of 2 for $15.99 and you order them in the specific size that you want instead of having to cut them (which allows the inserts to have a sturdy, finished edge). they totally deliver in quality, fit, and price - LOVE THEM!

I bought a truckload of these so that they can live in each shoe (and get washed after every few wears).Pros:- They are comfortable and washable. It's like a terry cloth fabric on top. The bottom is more rubbery so that they do not slide around.- I have trouble with no-show socks because if they're *truly* no-show, they constantly fall off my heel. And, those socks do not work if you have boots with the v-shaped opening on the sides. These insoles work like socks in that you don't get a grimy, slimy foot in your shoe. It's like wearing them barefoot, yet without being gross.- The stitching is durable around the outside, yet it doesn't press into your foot- They seem true to size. I am a 6.5, and got 6's just in case they'd be tight. That strategy worked too.Con:- A few of my shoes feel tight when I add these. Ideally, I'd remove the soles and put these in. Many shoes are not made that way. It's not the fault of the insole...just a reality of this system: they're thicker than socks so they can make things tighter.Potential Con:- The rubbery bottom may or may not hold up in the washing machine over years. I have not had this happen yet - but the material on the bottom seems like the kind that disintegrates after many washes or many years. These are inexpensive, so it may not matter...yet if you're concerned about waste or expense, buy a 2-pack and move them around your shoes rather than doing what I did (buying 20 pair so each shoe can have a dedicated pair).

I like these inserts! They are comfy and keep my feet from getting sweaty in the warm weather when I don’t wear socks with my sneakers. I gave them 4 stars because after a few washings the rubbery part on the bottom begins to fall apart. I liked them enough while they lasted though to order again

I advise to purchase your true size/shoe size. I thought it would be ok to use a size 8 in a 7.5. I was wrong. While it works, it is not ideal. It is too long and takes away from the space in the shoe. I should have purchased the size 7 or 7.5.When using these in dress flats or slip on shoes, they are a bit thick and create a tightness on my feet. Makes me cautious of stretching out my shoes. However, when using them in a sneaker or something with laces that can be adjusted, they are perfect! (Chef's kiss!)Washable and wonderful when wearing shoes without socks.

Just received these black shoe inserts and am very happy! They are comfortable, not too thick and just the right size for my shoes. They appear well made, and are well finished. It's great that they come in sizes, so fit perfectly with no cutting.

Like that these slip into my shoes with no alteration needed. Comfortable alternative to socks and keep the shoe bed clean! Washes well!

While they look great and initially feel great, I got massive blisters on the balls of my feet after walking maybe a mile.I have delicate skin and wasn't expecting it.

I bought a pair of ZEROSTRESS men's closed back slippers last summer and they fit well and are comfortable. The inside surface of the liner, however, started feeling a little gritty even though I cleaned them frequently. So I ordered these insoles and they are really great! They transform the slippers into things of comfort snugging up the fit slighty with a soft padded sole. Two pair of insoles are in the package so it is a good deal and I have a spare pair to change if I need to over the year. This is a great find.

Hard to find good quality like this in the market. Perfect sizing and ling lasting. Good sizing, too
