Bar Code Scanner - Works Right Out of the Box
This Bar-Code scanner works right out of the box and you'll be scanning bar codes faster than you can say create an Excel Spreadsheet - just plug and scan away. Easy setup, remote scanning up to 300 ft. and will survive the clumsiest of warehouse drops you can dish out.

Tested on Mac, Windows, Linux and iOS and has worked well!
I use this at work to catalog computer equipment and at home to catalog movies. It’s very customizable and can work with its wireless dongle or Bluetooth. The manual includes a set of QR codes to configure a lot of the features of the scanner, but you can also use the app on a mobile device (in my case an iPhone) to configure it. The dongle worked well on all major platforms I used it on (Linux, MacOS and Windows) and surprisingly enough it worked via a usb hub on my iPad Pro (I normally use Bluetooth on my iPad and iPhone when cataloging movies). I’ve used it with QR codes and standard bar codes and it has been very accurate. I do have to sometimes block out other bar codes if there are a bunch in a small space (ie: scanning a serial number off of a hard drive as many hard drives that have bar codes on them have a bunch for different information). So far very pleased and the battery lasts quite a while. I do wish it had a USB-C port instead of the older USB-B port (for those that don’t know USB-B port is a squarish port with rounded corners on one side - it’s an older cable that most people used with printers or USB scanners). Other than wishing it had a USB-C port (a minor issue not worth deducting a star for) I’m very happy with it.

Great scanner for cataloging comics and books. (Read about app)
The scanner is easy to use and setup. Unlike the scanner setups of years back, this is setup by installing an app on your phone...something I tend to have concerns about. The app allows you to easily send commands to the scanner via Bluetooth, eliminating the need to scan barcodes off paper and such. NOW - This might be known knowledge to some, but it should be said. The app/phone will keep the scanner connected to it by Bluetooth...which can become a problem. I have had the scanner paired to my PC, only for it to go idle and I have to wake it....problem here is that it will automatically pair to the phone...and if you aren't paying attention...you could accidently lock your phone out. Make sure to either disable idle on the scanner, or turn OFF Bluetooth on the phone while its being used, so it doesn't keep pairing with the phone, should it go idle again and need to be woken.

Just getting to know it. Like it so far!
I just got this today, so bear that in mind. Set up is ridiculously easy, if you want to use it as a keyboard. (Note: I'm on a Mac). The unit came charged, I plugged in The Bluetooth module (usb-a, not usb-c, so I needed a hub). I cancelled the automatic keyboard detection, since it asked me to press a key, LOL. Worked fine. For first testing, I just opened text edit, and started scanning. The result of a scan are typed into the window, followed by return. Easy as that, and it's working. Later I plan to do this into a web form. I have an epson label printer (LW-400), it can print bar codes that this scanner can read! Who knew? I have hade the label printer for YEARS, and found this out yesterday. Great combination. One thing: out of the box, it requires check digits to be on, or it will ignore labels. My label printer gives me the option to not print the check digit. When I don't, the canner won't recognize it. I bet that is a setting, but I haven't had to read the manual at all yet. Everything just works. I will read the manual, to make sure I get all the cool features. Note: the AI generated answer lies when it tells you this will read QR codes. It will not. This only reads two dimensional bar codes. QR are 2D. You can even see this for yourself. Point the scanner at a blank piece of paper. You'll see the laser goes back and forth in a straight line. So, far, I love it.

Awesome scanner great price
This is a great scanner for the price. Having the ability to use a Bluetooth, wired, or with the provided fob makes it very versatile. I've used it with my laptop my tablet and my cell phone with no issues. I mainly use it for inventory at work and have no issues with scanning the barcodes.
