Does not smell like Santal 33.
Santal 33 is my favorite scent, and I'm always looking for dupes. This is not a dupe. This smells like musky soap. Honestly it's kind of nasty. I wish they had tried a little bit to make this similar but they didn't.UPDATE: wanted to give it a chance and tried pouring a little bit of it into my diffuser - the bottle doesn't have an oil spout and spills EVERY WHERE if you try to use just a little! And now it's all over my hand and the sleeve of my shirt and it. Smells. Nasty. Nauseating. Idk what they were thinking when they tried to label it as Santal 33. Like this makes me sad

Love this scent!
There is a reason this scent is so popular and thus the reason it sells out fast. The price cannot be beat and I will continue to purchase it. I have experimented with a few more “flavors” and now have several favorites. People comment about the smell when they come through the door…in a good way!

Wish the scent was stronger
I have another product with the santal scent and it’s more potent. This smells of alcohol and a faint hint of fragrance. Won’t buy again and have another coming from the same company with a different scent.

Not quite Santal 33 but still nice
It smells nice but nothing like Le Labo’s Santal 33.

Buy it, you won't regret it.
I was initially skeptical when I opened the bottle and smelled the oil. However, once I mixed it with water and began diffusing it throughout my home, it truly captured the essence of the Le Labo store. The balance and intensity of the fragrance were perfect, creating an ambiance reminiscent of a five-star hotel. Trust me, it is worth trying! If you reside in a two-story house, I suggest using two diffusers to ensure an even distribution of the fragrance. Your guests will surely compliment you on the delightful aroma.

Puzzled by the positive reviews
I compared this scent to my bottle of Le Labo Santal 33, and I can’t understand how anyone might think they smell alike. While it may be "inspired" by Santal 33, the notes in this fragrance are far too floral. I couldn’t detect any cardamom, Australian sandalwood, or cedarwood - the key elements that give the real Santal 33 its signature spicy, leathery, and musky character.
