I’m still in the teaching stage, but the product is great!

My dog absolutely HATES his nails being cut. It's a huge fight and no one is happy afterwards. I was doubtful about this product, but it works like a charm. The treat drawer does pop out really easily, so I either face the treat drawer the wrong way so my dog actually scratches it long enough to trim his nails, then turn it the right way so he gets his treat. No more fighting to get his nails trimmed.

I was able to train my super anxious dog to use this, and it did really help to trim down his nails, something that used to cause us a lot of anxiety. The issue is the product is not designed to be used long term. There is only one extra sandpaper replacement (and despite lots of searching I could not find where you could buy extra replacements) and the adhesive on the sandpaper is so strong it’s impossible to remove from the wood backing. After several attempts and with the use of a paint scraper, this is as much as I could remove. So this works well until you need to replace the sandpaper, and then you’re SOL. If you’re looking for a long term solution, I’d look elsewhere.

We think he must have some PTSD From someone that did it when he was a baby or something, because he freaks out like you would not believe. We have tried everything. Forget about grooming, they won’t even deal with it so we are on our own and we have tried everything…. Beyond things which you can even imagine, we have tried it. But this actually finally works!Now what you should know is, the door slides up very easily when you first get it, so we just put some tape in the track until it is difficult for him to open it. Actually, I like to put enough tape to where it just barely becomes impossible for him to open it, because one less piece of tape and he still opened it in two seconds. So what we have to work best to just put tape on the track so that it cannot be slid open by him, And he scratched it enough for 1 session, then I open it for him.My responses to 2 separate & highly idiotic reviews I saw posted here about this product:*1) a video review on here shows someone opening & closing the door rapidly, to show how easily it opens, & they sent it back because of that 😅 … My response to that situation would be… “If you are just so helpless that you cannot figure out a way to make it harder to open, you probably have bigger problems in your life, so yes maybe sit this one out.”2) I Saw another review on here where the lady was upset because there was a bone-shaped wooden figure that came inside the box… (Sort of as a suggestion to show where to put the treats) and she let her dog eat it, knowing it was wooden, and then wants to complain. My Response: “ 🤦🏼‍♀️ Honey..You are the reason there are warnings printed on plastic bags. Prayers for your dog & God help him, I’m sure this is not the first idiotic thing you have done to put him in danger. I hope you do not have a drivers license.”This is literally the best thing ever! We have just bought our 1st pack of replacement sand paper. It sticks on so strong like you wouldn’t believe.Before buying this replacement pack, I did try to glue on some sand paper that I had… don’t do that, you need to get their replacement pack. Whatever sandpaper they are using is so high-quality that it lasts much longer, and the stickiness of it is just right to make it stick to the previous used layer. Any other glue I had tried just really wouldn’t stick very well. So you definitely want to get the replacement pack when you are ready. And one pad should last you quite a while. More than a month at least for our pug.Highly recommended!

The media could not be loaded.  I bought this for my husky. The part that slides out comes out so easily that a stiff breeze could knock it out. I can’t just lay this on the floor and let him go at it. I have to trick him and put it the opposite way, with my foot on it, I let him scratch the fool out of it and then I flip it around to reward him. It takes him one second to chuck the middle piece all the way across the room. Then I have to go retrieve the piece set it back up and repeat. If you can file your dogs nails With a Dremel or clip them… at all…Save. Your. Money. This is going in the garbage. It is absolutely useless. It’s a good idea. Just poorly executed. It also stinks to high heaven. It smells like they soaked it in vinegar for a few days before they shipped it. I am incredibly disappointed.I bought a few training tools and puzzles on the same day. Had I got to this one before the return window closed, I would’ve returned it. Wasted money.

Great for trimming your dogs nails, no more stress about using the nail clippers.

It also came with a cute little wooden bone and my dog chewed it up and one of the wooden shards got stuck in her teeth and made her bleed. Spent an hour trying to remove it and she ended up swallowing it. This was terrifying. She was very close to going to the hospital.

But my dog will not use it. It keeps my granddaughter busy instead. She plays with it more than the dog. The dog just looks at it. He wants nothing to do with it. I had high hopes for this for him to file his nails. Again I think the concept is great my dog just doesn’t want anything to do with it.

I have to sedate my German Shepherd to cut his nails. Very expensive at the vet. Used the scratch box after 5 mins his long nails were completely gone. I am so impressed. He loves scratching the sand paper to get his cookie hidden in the box.

En si el producto es tal cual en la imagen, pero las puertas no tienen nada de fuerza, mi perro no se pudo rascar porque en cuanto puso la pata y rasco se abrió con mucha facilidad, no fue ningún reto sacar el premio de la caja

Funcionó increible, es muy fácil de usar y mi perrita sola se ha limado sus uñas, buena calidad de producto y precio

The media could not be loaded.  Ich hab schon wirklich alles versucht aber mein Hund Lily lässt sich nicht Ihre Krallen schneiden.Mit dem Kratzbrett ( so wie ich es nenne) funktioniert es richtig gut , man muss nur ein richtig besonderes Leckerli rein packen und los geht's.Absolute Weiterempfehlung 👍

I was sceptical about this product to be honest, but had to try because one of my dogs doesn't like cutting their claws especially on the front paws. I've already tried different nail clippers, dremel, nail files and a similar board without a treat compartment. This one does work ( not on the dew claws and not on the back paws). It took about 5-10 min for the dog ( medium size, 31 kg) to figure out what to do. If your dog is not very food motivated, it may take longer.There are however couple of cons. 1. The board is not big ( would have been great if there was a larger size of the board) and it doesn't have any floor grips so you'd have to hold it especially if the dog is of medium size or larger. I use rubber garden gloves to do it, it's easier and provides better grip. 2. The treat compartment is very easy to open so when the dog gets to it, it often flies out. I usually turn the board, letting the dog to work on the claws evenly on the surface and preventing the compartment to be open too quickly.Easy to store and it comes with the spare set of sand paper for the board and for the compartment.Despite the cons, it's totally worth trying.
