I personally got this pillow to use after my abdominal surgeries to help cushion and have a pillow to hold against my incision for when I cough. My incision goes from the top of my stomach and down the middle to below my waist line of my underwear. The belt and straps are elastic so they are comfortable. I don’t use the shoulder straps but the one that wraps around to kinda keep the pillow in place has been a life saver cause it keeps pressure how you want it with the adjustable strap. The part where you adjust the strap is super easy and to tighten but it doesn’t loosen on it own so it’s like the perfect pillow belt. The fabric is super soft and easy to spot clean. The pockets are very convenient and hold a decent amount of stuff. It’s definitely worth the money.

I got this for top surgery recovery and it’s been great. It’s useful in a car, the icepack it comes with is fantastic, it stops my cat from hurting me (as much) when she walks across my chest, the pockets work perfectly to keep things close by, and it holds any icepack in place when I’m walking around.But the straps. They’re just awful. I have to get help safety pinning them to every shirt I put on. The adjustable feature is an absolute joke because it won’t hold at all, so they’re always the longest length possible and can’t get shorter. And no matter what you do (besides safety pins or literally sewing them in place on your shoulders), they don’t stay up.Can you still wear it without the straps? Yes. But it’s inconvenient and way less comfortable. So that’s why I docked a star.Otherwise, great product. No bad smell, soft fabric, easy to use buckles, and very reasonable price. I’m also glad I chose black instead of grey because it’s in prime spilling zone and as long as it’s clean, I don’t want to have to worry about scrubbing out stains.

This is a great buy for post-op breast reduction surgery. It’s incredibly comfortable. Perfect for car ride home. It’s great for sleeping upright so you don’t roll to the side. The straps are super helpful for it to stay on and stay put when you need to move around. It is also a nice guard for bumping into anything and protects me from my little dogs getting on me when I lay down. I highly recommend this to anyone getting breast surgery.

A few days ago, had to have my breast reconstruction reversed (a bit like having a mastectomy all over again) & as functionality goes this product has been a lifesaving game changer. If only the quality of it was as fantastic as the design.It DOES do an amazing job with not only protecting my incisions from any kind of bumping or nudging from things like my car seatbelt or my cat, but also as a great reminder to hug the pillow to my chest when I stand & to not move in ways I'm not medically cleared to yet (such as pushing or pulling my weight with my arms). Plus it's extremely comfortable & the pockets on both sides are ideal for securing a cool pack in the inner pocket to soothe incision discomfort while tucking my cell phone or a small book into the exterior pocket.In all honesty, if I could grade it on design alone it would be 5 stars without question.... Unfortunately, sloppy assembly at the factory drags my rating of it down in the "quality" department.I've only been using the product for 2 days since discharge from the hospital but the seams are already unraveling & exposing the stuffing. Additional, the right side shoulder strap was threaded incorrectly through the clip-in buckle, which has been leading to it not remaining snuggly adjusted on that side... Luckily I'm pretty decent at sewing so the unraveling seam at least I can repair without too much difficulty, but with well below a week of use I SHOULDN'T NEED to be stitching it back together a product that's job is supposed to be helping keep ME stitched together. The strap I can probably fix as well but it will mean spending an afternoon with a seam ripper before I'll even be able thread it correctly through the buckle snap.Like I said, the design is phenomenal but I very much wish the craftsmanship was nearly as good. While I not only love the product overall but also NEED it, it's extremely frustrating having to repair a product that should have been assembled correctly & quality inspected to begin with.

It is practical, it arrived on time and in good condition. Unlike other similar products, this one doesn't include the separate piece that cover the seatbelt, and it doesn't offer it either, in the description. So the vendor is not misleading in anyway. I am just mentioning it in case buyers want that additional piece covering the seatbelt, And don't notice that this product doesn't offer it. But I have been using it continuously for two weeks and still going, for now. Good product.
