I have found this docking station to be great value it’s well made very versatile and as I am using it with my iPad Air for video editing it allows for external ssd which is great for editing,if you need hands free to use external mouse or keyboard this is great I fully recommend this stand.

I wanted a new usb C dock to use with my Chromebook, but also with my Steam Deck. This USB C dock pretty much solved all the problems I had, with a great addition that set this product apart from other docks. This dock features 1 USB A 3.2 port that supports transfer speeds of up to 5 Gbps, 2 USB A ports that supports up to 480 Mbps (better to use those ports for mouse and keyboard since the transfer speed is slow), 1 SD card and 1 microSD card reader, an ethernet port that supports 1000 Mbps, 1 HDMI 2.0 port that supports 4K@60Hz, a USB C 3.2 port that also supports 5 Gbps, a USB C port for power delivery that supports up to 100 Watts, a 3.5 mm headphone jack and a USB C port to connect to the host device. What makes this dock different from other brands is that it is also a stand used to support your device. This is perfect if you plan on using a tablet, a gaming device, or even your phone with the Samsung Dex function. With a tablet, it makes it seem like your device became an all in one computer. The stand can be adjusted at a lot of different height and angle, and can be freely rotated 360 degree (the only limit is the length of the usb cable connected from the device to the dock. In my case, I use this USB C dock with a Chromebook with a couple of devices plugged in (a behringer audio interface, a 1080p webcam, a mouse and a 1080p display and a 100 watt charger plugged in the PD USB C port. In this case, it seems to support all of those devices working at the same time without any kind of problem and without discharging. There is no delay between mouse movement and what shows on the screen. Same thing when I record simple music, there’s no lag and the recorded track is how it should be. It is important to note that the stand may not work well with all laptops because of the weight. I tested the support with my 17 inch gaming laptop and for obvious reason, that didn’t work. All in all, if you have a use case like mine, this dock might be the ideal solution for you. It offers a lot of possibilities that other docks don’t offer.
