Decent reel
Smooth and inexpensiveGood for panfish or ice fishing

Great build quality and very smooth operation
This little powerhouse is well built. Very solid construction, fit and finish. All the fasteners are hex, which makes total sense on screws this size to prevent stripping. I disassemble all my new reels and add Penn grease, grease the drag and oil the bearings including line roller. This reel will be solely used for bait with a sabiki rig, and should hold up just fine based on its build and construction. Although I would not recommend this for saltwater as I am using it, the quality materials help. Of course it will be rinsed down with fresh water minutes after use.Don’t waste a lot of time and money buying a throw away reel. Diawa didn’t cut corners on this one. It is a great value and very smooth operating.

Gonna be a great reel for ultralight fishing
Currently on the Shimano FX, possibly an Okuma Celilo (I'll know when it arrives lol)Haven't used it yet, but feels pretty smooth for a low budget reel. I love the weight, nice and light.Will give an updated review after I use it a few times.I haven't seen one in person so wasn't sure of the reel size. Was excited to see it's in the 500 range size.For size comparison: In my photos it's next to the Shimano IX1000 and Pflueger President 35.
