Dickies carpenter work pants are great!
Dickies carpenter work pants are my favorite work pants. I ordered size 2 and they fit perfectly. The length comes long (I suppose for anyone with long legs), so I fold the bottoms up underneath till I can hem them. The pocket on the thigh holds a cell phone very nicely and the heavy duck material is great for cold winter wear. I have several other Dickies carpenter pants in a size larger, but after washing them, they do stretch out a bit after wearing them, then shrink a bit again after washing. I took a chance on the smaller size and glad I did. They are well made, have deep pockets and are so comfortable. They are my favorite pants for everyday work.... gardening, yard, woodworking etc. and I think they look good.

Breathable and durable
These are my favorite pants. I own every color and in double front. I’m rough on pants and these hold up. They also don’t make me overheat since they are cotton. Make sure you wash in cold water and line dry because they are cotton and will shrink! The only thing I don’t like is that they are perfect fit on the legs but have a huge waist…. I have to have a belt and even then it’s bunched up and baggy in the crotch and waist area. I still love them.. I wear a size 2 at 5’7 and 135 lbs.

Great pants, but they run LARGE!
I really wanted some carpenter pants for my manufacturing/warehouse job, and I've heard good things about Dickie's, so I thought these would be perfect. Unfortunately, they were too big in the waist. According to the size chart, a size 2 should have fit my 26.5" waist, but the pants were about 3 or 4" too big for me. The smallest size Dickie's makes in these pants is a 2, so I'm sadly going to have to just return them for a refund.

Bye bye to too tight for thighs, these work with you!
I am 4'10" and wear a size 4-6short/petite. I bought a size 4 and they fit like a charm. They are a bit baggy and bigger around the thighs, but if you've got hips or thighs I think these pants will work with you, not against. And No.. they don't fit lengthwise and I had to cut and hem them, but honestly for work they're AMAZING! They're thick and durable, I haven't stained them (yet), and fit just right around my hips and thighs. I work in pest control and getting in crawl spaces, attics, basements, outdoors, mechanic rooms, etc... has led to most of my "non" work pants to stain and rip, or just look horrible.I own Carhartt, LOFT, Universal Thread, Old Navy, and other affordable pants but these are awesome because they stretch and give a little. Are legit work pants that are sturdy and strong, and mostly importantly don't suffocate those thighs or hips.

NOT FOR MANUAL WORKERS
NOT MEANT FOR MANUAL LABORERS!Bought a pair over a year ago they were ok at best. The pockets were much smaller in comparison to my male coworkers also wearing dickies carpenter pants. Couldn’t put channellocks, blade and level in the side pocket but the mens pants can hold all that and more. Bought a second pair a few months ago and they are even worse. They fit very tight in the thighs and loose in the waist with extra material in the crotch. The stitching came apart on the second wear. I have no choice but to still wear them because i spent $50 and cant yet afford a new pair. BUY THE MENS!! it’s impossible to find good womens workwear

Very Well Made
I’ll be honest, they are still too large for me, but not large enough for me to return. These pants have everything you look for in a work pants, everything from roomy pockets, to a hammer ring. They are super comfortable and made to last. Finally, the last thing I’d like to mention here is that they are actually super stylish.

Great pants
Bought this pants strictly for working construction. I am 145 and 5' 6' and bought a size 10 regular. After 1 wash it shrank a little but its still a little big and perfect for the way I want it to fit. I am able to use a work belt and still have room to put things in my pocket and bend, crawl into spaces and move. Pants is kinda thick in my opinion but perfect for construction. Feels tough enough to withstand hard work.
