Box set of 5 classic Quo albums.
A very good value for money box set of 5 classic Quo albums from the 70s.They take me right back to when I was in my teens, the CDs replace the cassettes I have of the albums which I played to death!

5 CD "Starter kit" and what excellent value
This 5 CD set is an excellent "starter kit" for anyone that is a Quo fan.It consists ofDisc 1, PILEDRIVER.Disc 2, HELLO one of my most favourite Quo albums.Disc 3, QUO.Disc 4, ON THE LEVEL.and,Disc 5, BLUE FOR YOU.One of the reasons I recommend this 5 CD set is that it is named "Status Quo - Classic Albums" and that is exactly what you get.This also fits in a CD rack in one space of one CD because of the way it is packaged.No bonus tracks it's just like having your vinyl albums converted to CD's.Bonus tracks are nice but, if you originally bought these albums on vinyl you will know what I mean.Besides, if you are a collector, you still have the choice to buy them all separate to get those bonus tracks.I would love to see a box set of all their albums in the same manner, especially at the price of just over £2 a CD which included p&p.Unfortunately 5 stars is the max I can give, though in my opinion this collection is worth double that amount.

That's A Fact
It's not a case of loving or loathing Status Quo, more a matter of rock and blues fans liking them at one time or another during their career. It is very hard not to have a soft spot for them. Here in the brilliant Classic Album series you get five works that really are classic Quo, from: Piledriver. On the Level, Blue For You, Quo and the best of the lot - Hello. These releases show Quo as the band who have worked it out after the likes of Pictures of Matchstick Men etc etc and they cut the familiar rocking furrow they want. Unlikely you would play these albums back to back but this is peak stuff before they became a pastiche of the band they once were.

Excellent Value
Five of the best Status Quo albums at this price is pretty amazing! I've been hearing these albums on old cassette tape and the CD clarity from this collection gives the music a freshness and new impact for me. Time to put the old cassettes on ebay.
