Review: Great Bang for your Buck for comfy Cot - Item arrived quickly and was easy to set-up. Instructions okay, but watched a youtube video for hints and how to best tension the legs. Have not used in field yet, but cot held my 230 lb, 6' 4" (193 cm) frame well. My head and feet are just at the ends of the cot. Sideways sleeping was fine directly on the cot (without a sleeping pad or bag). Easy to disassemble and stores well in the provided stuff sack. After being on it for about 20 minutes in various positions, didn't notice and significant stretching or sag. I expect some over time with use. This might not be the strongest or lightest weight cot, but for car camping or bike camping it packs small and travels well. I wouldn't take it backpacking, as space and weight are a premium. This appears to be a real gem re: value versus cost. Time will tell regarding quality. -----------------UPDATE-------------------- Tried in the field and works well. No permanent sagging or stretch for my 230 lb body. My only complaint is that my inflatable foam mattress easily slid around on the cot with tossing and turning. Often woke up with the mattress half-off the cot. I am sure I could come up with a set-up to reduce this.
Review: Easy way, for toughest assembly step. Cot comfortable & robust. Unique "flying arch" reinforcement - I found this very simple and easy to assemble. The only step that seems to have challenged some buyers is fixing the second leg to the cot's poles. It does require a bit of force. I found an easy way. Place the cot so that one side and its inserted rod is along the floor. Hold the cot up, and while standing up, use your eyes to guide the first leg to where it connects to the lower rod. Then simply lightly push down. The curved plastic will lightly snap into the bottom rod instantly. Then, to make the most challenging action easy, use your body weight to push the top of the other foot down. The aluminum "spreader rod" will bend a bit. Aim the little curved attachment area towards the upper rod. This gives you the 2-3 inches "give" necessary to fit the curved plastic to the upper rod. The rod and plastic foot are very solid. They won't break. I'd guess I needed to apply perhaps 20-25 pounds of pressure downward, but it wasn't strenuous at all, because I was using my body weight. Comfort: I haven't slept on the cot yet, but I lay on it in various positions. I found it comfortable in every position, mainly on my side and back. The fabric gives a little, which makes the cot conform somewhat to one's body. But the fabric also feels very strong. (Note I'm 5'11" and about 190lbs at the moment.) For sleeping all night, I'll likely use a pad of some sort, which includes a cut down "mattress topper" 2" memory foam layer. The cot seems stable to me, but I approached it with smooth motions. The build quality is robust. Especially, I like that there is a well designed "flying arch" to provide stiffness and durability for the plastic part between the legs, and the attachment to the cot's aluminum rods. (It's noticeable on the product photos.) Most other cots of the Marchway-type geometry lack the feature, and I'd guess that could make them less stable and durable. The fabric of the cot seems like a tight and durable weave, and the sewing is immaculate. What I haven't covered in this review are impressions after long-term use, or sleeping on it many many nights. Thankfully, other reviews cover this well.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent sleep, quality materials, superior compact size and durability, but LOW!
*by T***A on November 24, 2025*

These cots are beautiful (we got teal and the earthy green color) and compact. They set up very easily and are very sturdy and will last a long time from all I can see of the materials. My husband and I have both used them and have slept very well with an inflatable camping pad on top, bundled to the cot with bungee straps, then a sleeping bag on top. The bungees hold the air mattress on the cot to avoid slipping around while turning in the sleeping bag. The air mattress is needed because, even though the mattress has no hard bars going across, the tension is so firm I could feel it in my hips without the pad. With the pad, however, the sleep is perfect! The only reason I dropped a star is due to the height. It is very low to the ground. We are in our early sixties and, though we're fit, the ease of movement getting OUT of the cot is a little awkward. I suggest ensuring there is something nearby the cot to pull up on (plus, perhaps a padded mat beside the cot to protect the knees from the hard ground), otherwise one has to roll out onto the floor and get up from that position. If it was just a tad taller, it would be easier to get up and out of the cot. The length and width are perfect as is the compact size when stored in the drawstring bag, all easily fitting inside. The cots solve a lot of comfort issues when tent camping. These are great for keeping in a small home for overnight guests (but not seniors!). We will continue to enjoy our cots with padded floor mats and a sturdy table nearby to pull up on.
