I have a fender acoustasonic and this thing impresses me so much more for a fraction of the cost....

This guitar required massive setup. The low E side of the bridge saddle had to be raised to match the rest of the strings to prevent buzzing. There is a neck tilt feature that saved the day, and the truss rod had to be tightened.I’m not sure what causes this but some guitars have stiff action, more than others and this guitar is stiff, so stiff that bending and playability is terrible with the 11 gauge strings this guitar came with. I replaced them with elixir 10s and it wasn’t much better, I’ll probably go to 9s when I get the opportunity at a later time. The neck is chunky and the frets are uncomfortably high. I achieved a close action and straight neck with no buzz, but the stiff strings still caused fatigue in my fingers. The tone/contour knob made very little difference in any position but the overall sound of the pickup wasn’t bad.Here’s the good news; the gigbag is awesome. The finish on the guitar is awesome. The general construction and aesthetics of the guitar is superb. The overall sound is great for anything you want to play.My only real complaint is the stiffness of the strings.
