Would definitely recommend
I think the best thing about buying a dvd rather than attending an actual class is that you can stop and take a breather whenever you want and not feel embarrassed as you would in a class full of people.This workout is only 36 minutes long (including warm up and cool down) but you really do work up a sweat. Billy Blanks splits the workout up into sections,: abs, legs, whole body workout. One of the best things about this is that there are no crunches/sit ups - I hate them as they really make my neck hurt and in this workout Billy uses alternate means to tone those abs and trim the fat.Only been using for a few days so don't know the physical effect they've had. Whilst I am exhausted after a workout (I don't have the highest or lowest level of fitness), afterwards I feel so happy and alive. Plus, Billy's exercises are a lot kinder to the body than Jillian Michaels' 30 day shred which made my legs ache for days afterwards, and really put pressure of my knees and made them hurt badly. (baring in mind I'm only 20, and am not overweight - just a few 'vanity pounds' to lose)You really work up a sweat, and really get your heart pounding with this.

good addition to your collection
this is a great work out that really gets your blood pumping, there are no complication sets of moves , great for the uncoordinated like me. However saying that all Billy's dvds are flawed in the same way, he often forgets how many reps to do each side and his warm up and cool down are far from adequate but all in all his workouts give results and are fun to do. I dont mind the length of this as I combine with other half hour routines in my collection for variety and I have been told by a keep fit instructor in my local gym that doing cardio for over 40 minutes is pointless, not sure if that is correct or not

Another knockout workout from Billy
I have pretty much all of Billy's workouts and still enjoy his style of exercise and enthusiasm. This is a good comprehensive routine with plenty of familiar moves for those already familiar with Tae Bo but broken into different blocks so it makes what could be a very similar dvd to Celebrity Sculpt slightly different. It isn't one of my favourite Tae Bo offerings (I still prefer Celebrity Sculpt and Get Ripped) but nevertheless it will get your heart rate up and burn those all important calories and at just over 30 mins long, it's about right.

Build strength and burn fat...
I have always found Billy Blanks' workouts excellent and he really motivates me. I especially like Cardio 1 as it really gets the heart rate going. You definitely feel afterwards that you have burned some fat! Also if you find floor abs excercises hard on your neck then you will really benefit from this DVD. It includes really good abs excercises that are done standing up and do not strain the neck at all. The workout is a little over 30 minutes long and the time passes really quickly. It is a hard workout and you will feel as though you have worked out for a hour. If you're very fit already the Tae Bo Advanced and the Tae Bo Abs and Glutes will deliver that extra level of challenge.

I own a couple of other dvds from Billy and really like most of them. This one is no exception, however after a couple of months training I find this one a little too short (about 30mins) and normally do and extra half an hour with Abs and Glutes. It is handy though if you don't want to spend too long and it will still make you sweat.A plus is that it really concentrates on the abs.

Excellent but short
I've been doing Billy Blanks workouts for about 2 years and I think this is another great routine. It's very similar to the others but the cardio is definitely more intense. There are lots of leg and knee raises but not so many that it gets boring. I would have given 5 stars if the workout was longer - it runs at 35 minutes, but it's still an excellent routine which gets the heartbeat going.

EXCELLENT!!
If you're like me and you want something high impact that doesn't involve running, cycling, complicated dance moves, etc, you will love this workout, its very fast and gets your heart pumping and sweat pouring off you in no time. The moves are simple to follow, they involve fist punching and leg kicking, and no mat needed as there are no floor exercises! Billy Blanks is great too, he always seems to "know" when youre getting tired and when to drop in a few words of encouragement and motivation to get you to push yourself that much farther! The time goes by very quickly (35 minutes, to be precise) and you are left feeling totally invigorated! I definitely recommend this 100%!!

motivating
i love billy blanks ability to motivate and keep you going to the last. as all of his dvd's - this is good. but the celebrity cardio dvd and the celebrity sculpt dvds and a little bit better than this one.
