A Decent Addition to Wellness Routine
The Nordic Bork 1200mg Omega 3 Cod Liver Oil Liquid has found its place in my daily wellness routine, and while it brings some notable benefits, it falls short in certain aspects, warranting a three-star rating. One positive aspect is the potency of the Omega 3 content. With 370mg EPA and 500mg DHA per serving, it boasts a respectable dosage that aligns with the recommended daily intake for promoting heart health and brain function. The liquid form is convenient for those who prefer an alternative to traditional capsules. The gluten-free feature is appreciated, catering to those with dietary restrictions. The absence of gluten ensures a broader audience can incorporate this fish oil syrup into their wellness regimen without concerns about allergens. However, the taste and texture of the liquid are areas of improvement. The fish oil flavor is pronounced, and the syrupy consistency may be off-putting for some users. While it is palatable when mixed with other beverages or taken quickly, the overall experience could be more enjoyable.

Good quality fish oil for those who have issues with soft gel capsules.
I have tried an awful lot of Omega-3 supplements over the years. This one from Nordic Bork comes in flavoured oil form rather than the more usual capsules. As someone who often struggles with the more common soft gel capsules this format offers significant appeal, as I don't really want to choke while taking my daily Omega-3. The flavouring does a reasonable job of making this more palatable, but it will not avoid that oily mouthfeel, which may put some people off.The key things to look for with regard to the Omega-3 supplements are the levels of EPA and DHA that they contain. Many products seems to represent good value at first glance, but don't actually deliver the level of potential health benefits that you think they might. Ideally, you should be looking for Omega-3 supplements that deliver a daily combined dose of around 1000mg of EPA and DHA .The suggested daily intake of this supplement is 5ml (one teaspoon), which would deliver 370mg EPA and 550mg DHA, so a combined total of 920mg, which is pretty close to what you should be looking for.But how does the cost of this product does not stack up? The bottle contains 150ml, so taking 5ml per day at the current cost of £9.99 equates to a daily cost of about 33p. I have tried and reviewed other very good products on here that also deliver a combined dose of EPA & DHA of 1000mg or more, but that do so with a daily cost of less than that amount - but I have also come across others that cost quite a bit more per day, so this one probably sits somewhere in the mid-range.This is certainly a product that would appeal to me as I would prefer not to have to suffer the traumatic experience of trying to swallow soft gel capsules every day. Although I could get some (but not all) good quality capsules at a lower daily cost than this oil, I would consider this to be a reasonable price and certainly not extortionate.I hope you find these comments helpful.
