Bought this video card to replace a failed built in Intel onboard graphics "card" on an older desktop PC used for routine office work. Plugged into a PCI Express 16 slot, booted the computer, Win 7 automatically detected new drivers, rebooted, and everything is working well.

Needed this card to upgrade an old dell from about 2008 to give it a DVI port. works exactly as expected. Drivers are no longer updated for any operating system and generic drivers will be loaded by windows that offer good enough support for basic every day use. this is from the days when 1920 x 1080 wasn't exactly supported. You can select that resolution but there are all sorts of artifacts and discolorations. Needs to be run at 1024 x 768 to look clean.The review automatically asked about gaming... if you want to play retro games the built in card in any modern computer will work better than this relic.

The graphics card seems to work fine with Windows 7, but I have not been able to find any drivers for windows 10. The AMD webpage says that if the card does not appear on their website it problably does not have any drivers available for the Windows 10.

Works great and was detected by my Linux OS immediately. I am making a MAME cabinet and needed an s-video out to connect to the TV in it. This card worked out of the box (ATI has been great with Linux for a long time) and popped right into the HP computer I'm running. My only gripe is that contrary to the pictures I got the full height version and no lo-profile bracket in the pack. That is the only reason for one star off.

I was building a server for my home. The OS had a web UI, but I needed video output for initial BIOS settings and the installation of the OS itself. So I bought this, which was perfect. With all the installation finished I just left it in the machine, and ran it headless. The best part is, it’s completely passive in terms of temperature management, and therefore is complete silent.

Sorry. I thought that should work. But when I get it in a package, it seems fine but with some missing parts. Several months later, I finally have a mother board to try, it did not work at all. Be careful about the quality, and please try it once you get it. I was too late to get this returned.

So I ordered this for a very basic system I built for my son (to have a dual monitor setup). I have windows 10 running on the target machine. Plugged it in and it "works" but only at an unusable low resolution. Despite searching on dell's support page I could not find any drivers that support anything newer than windows XP. Disappointing but it is what it is for the price.

It was very cheap and works well enough for my kids internet games and videos. Probably not going to be used for any high end gaming so it works just fine for what we needed it for.
