I bought this after reading good reviews and 2 friends told me it’s a must. Well it’s 100% accurate. It was the best thing to have after my bilateral mastectomy. It’s so comforting. You feel protected and your arms have somewhere to lay comfortably cause you are uncomfortable under your arms after. It’s soft and not heavy. I loved the pockets. Carried my phone or even my meds in there. Great for car rides to doctors. And helped me sleep on myBack. Mine has held up really well 3 weeks into this recovery.

Very helpful & comfy..only suggestion of possible shoulder straps. Worked well in car for seat belt protection & knee pillow after not needed so much for chest.

I purchased this mastectomy pillow after seeing it featured on Amazon and reading the glowing reviews from other customers. And I can attest that the reviews are spot-on. This pillow has been an absolute essential during my surgery process and it’s so handy that I see no reason not to keep using it after I heal from my reconstruction.Something about its shape and softness is the magic - I didn’t really wear it strapped to my body while moving around the house, but primarily used it when in bed. It sits so naturally across your body that it makes a non-bulky barrier that prevents your comforter from weighing or chafing against sensitive areas. Almost more importantly, the side panels provide a gentle armrest that prevents uncomfortable muscle pulling in your shoulders when you are laying on your back. As a side sleeper, sleeping on my back has been one of the toughest aspects of this process and your arms really do pull down to the sides in a way you don’t notice until the muscles along the top of your chest are compromised. Lastly, the pockets are everything so you’re not fumbling for your phone or remotes which is so important when your range of motion is compromised. Of course it is a must in the car too.A few times over the last few months I’ve forgotten my pillow while going in a car or staying overnight somewhere- and on all occasions trying to substitute another pillow did not come close!!Get this gem!! Best purchase I made for this journey and as noted I see no reason why I won’t keep using it when I’m all healed!

I was worried about driving home from my surgery or just being in a car and having to wear a seatbelt during my recovery, and I thought this would help. It did. It also made me feel more secure at home and my first few trips out and about in public after my surgery. It also made me feel more secure while I slept. I also liked the shoulder straps and waist/belt to keep things in place. I would highly recommend this product to any woman having to go through mastectomy surgery.

My husband ordered this for me before my recent surgery, and it is one of my favorite things that he got me in preparation for this surgery. This pillow allows me to sit and lay down comfortably without worrying about causing myself pain because my arms are touching the surgical areas or are putting any pressure on my drains.It adds another layer of cushioning when riding in the car with the seat belt on, even though I also have a cushion on the seat belt to help protect my surgical sites. It's kept our dogs from hurting me by getting too close (since they can smell that something's different). Anyone who is having surgery on their chest, whether male or female, should get one of these! I even had an older gentleman at the hospital remark how he wished he'd had one after open heart surgery.

I purchase this pillow as I had to have a bi-lateral mastectomy and after research it was recommended to get one. I'm so glad I did. I used this on my way home and it was a protector from the seatbelt. The seatbelt had a cushion to land on versus sitting on my chest as I was in severe pain on the drive home. I used it when I slept and I've used it as a prop for my arm as I experience a lot of nerve pain. I have a feeling I will now use this pillow during my entire recovery and even after as it's now a piece of comfort. It's very soft. My only dislike is the strap. It's not very durable. Although it's not broken, the strap does not securely stay in the clip. But it's doesn't bother me to the point of regret. Great purchase overall and I'm glad I purchased this pillow.

I luv this pillow , I bought it when I had a masectomy & I still use it every day , it’s my travel pillow, it’s great in the car to lean your head on , I use it when laying on the couch, the side pillows wrap around each side of my head 😀I left my pillow in a hotel room and I ordered another one , I loved it so much .Very soft also , the purple one is , the other colors look like they might have a different texture material 🤷🏻‍♀️

I would recommend this comfort pillow...I had a DMX with node dissection, so it came in handy to keep my arm away from my chest to allow the scar to breathe. Very soft and the pockets are handy too.

She said this pillow really helped her! I wasn't sure because it didn't look like much when we opened it. She also voiced that it was extremely helpful in the car when she had to have a seat belt on. I was so happy this helped.

It’s lumpy and under filled, filled with cheap stuffing that bunches into balls, leaving areas empty with no stuffing. Definitely not worth $100

Thank god i splurged on this recovery pillow. Had explant and lift and let me tell you, it like a warm hug on the owies. The strap that does up around the body is to big for me on the tightest setting but I don’t even care. I searched many different kinds and this one was double the cost so I held off but kept coming back to it. So happy I didn’t cheap out. This will not leave my side until I am healed. And maybe won’t then either.

I bought this for a friend who was having a masectomy. She told me again today it was a God sent. She uses it in the car to protect her from the seat belt and for sleeping, the side cushions protect her from have her arms touching the sensitive incision when she sleeps. Highly recommend you get this instead of flowers and get it so she can have it to come home from the hospital with in the car. She will be so grateful for it.

Purchased as a gift after mastectomy surgery. I have been told it is great after this surgery and very comfortable. Also arrived within 2 days. Very happy!
