Animal studies have linked it to potential health concerns like thyroid issues and impaired cognitive function with chronic use, while human studies suggest possible links to higher risks for metabolic disorders, certain cancers, and adverse pregnancy outcomes. Allura red can cause side effects such as allergic reactions like hives, asthma, and migraines in sensitive individuals. There is also evidence linking it to hyperactivity and other behavioural changes, particularly in children, and some studies suggest potential long-term risks including DNA damage and inflammation, though more research is needed to confirm a direct link to cancer in humans.

I used this powder as part of my under active thyroid treatment as a source of quick acting protein it hit the spot straight away when used with carbohydrates and in moderation it is also sugar free

I have tried many Bcaa powders and this is, by far, the worst thing I have ever drunk. It is rediculously, sickly, sweet and absolutely undrinkable. Perhaps the other flavours are different, but save your money (and your taste buds!) and get something else
