I liked twice the lbs of retardant material over my older extinguisher. This extinguisher is larger but still fit in its location in the boat. After taking a fire extinguisher class and witnessed a 5 lb extinguisher was incapable of putting out a small gasoline fire when improperly used; I was shocked to see the 5 lb of retardant emptied so quickly and fire still burning. I had always thought that 5 lbs was ample amount of retardant for a small gas fire. Use properly, check the date on the bottom of the bottle if older than 12 years, replace with new. The expiration code has changed from date, but if within 12 years USCG will accept. Be fire safe.

The seller is quick to respond to any problem you may have and will help with any problem you may be having. Hopefully I will never need this product, but it looks to be very well-made and should stand up to the marine environment without problems.

It's big enough to really get put a small fire and works against fires caused by several sources. I won't know precisely how well it works unless I unfortunately have to use it, but I'm happy to have it.

I like the way it looks on my f150. Can't say anything about the performance as if I used it, you wouldn't see it on my truck.
