A) they do not have glue, they just rest on top. No need to worry about misaligning when setting them down. B) the protective film all the 1stars complain about, I had no trouble with. Takes patience, you have to be a little careful, but I personally had no danger in breaking the board. C) Thick! About half a marker-cube high. This was better than expected. Much sturdier than other similar boards I've used. The only boards better are ones I've seen people make themselves using 3D printers. As far as boards you can buy, this is as good as it gets. 10/10 recommend.

Just let you know if your buying.... this is 5 separate pieces. Also it’s a single piece that just sits on top of the card. It’s not one that the card sits inside.... I do believe there is nothing sticky to hold the card to it, just the adhesive to hold the brown paper that protects it.... They do line up perfectly with the card and I’m using a little scotch tape to hold them together. No problems at this point.... they are plastic and need to take care of them... I’m betting they can break easily. Treat them like glass and you should be ok

I bought these for my son and husband for Christmas. Actually, I bought it for me because when I play my little squares move all over the place. This keeps them in place. My husband who does not like to buy extra accessories for games really liked them.

We like the thickness, it really helps to keep the pieces on our board stable. We really enjoy not having the confusion caused by accidental movements scattering pieces across the board. Gluing each piece wasn’t difficult. Really worth it!

Overlay does just sit on top of the original game card. It works but the card underneath can still slide around. There are other versions that are cheaper and hold the card.

Fits over the card stock perfectly. Use a tiny dab from a glue-stick on each corner to adhere to the player card. Mine came with a couple of small, minor scratches on 2 of the plastic overlays, but nothing that would detract from its intended use. Would give 5 stars if there were no scratches.

Keeps everything separated and marked correctly through the inevitable bumping of the player boards during the course of the game.

First; this is problet the best product for the price. You may want to pay more to buy a different product. One of the bboards snapped in two places as I was peeling off the covering. Not sure if it was me or the board was bad but I have four not five boards. Peeling off the covering is a TASK! Be very careful not to scratch or snap the board. Their is no stickem to mount these, simply lay them over the board. They line up very well. You cannot slide a cube on these boards. Cubes fit into a small enclosed space. They need to be picked up and put down in the next slot.
