The cut is super modern, it takes casual classic styling, to chic, at a solid value.Runs smallHowever, I think both shirts run small, and I actually bumped-up the age. I should have gone two (2) sizes up. The pants, though, are a tad baggy in the waist and a tad long, so kind of a weird dilemma.I found the colors to be much nicer looking in person. I selected these, in large part because they’re DKNY, which we have other outfits. DKNY are a premium brand name when it comes to clothing, from children to adults. These slacks are made with a rich solid color, they have the feel of cotton twill/canvas, so they have a semi-thick smooth feeling from being 100% cotton twill/canvas fabric that our little one will grow-out-of, before wearing out. Although, somewhat thick, they are protective, comfortable, and affordable. These are also immediately recognizable, with DKNY tags. The shirts are super nice in color and style too. However, I ordered up and their sizes fit now, so I should have ordered even larger. I try to stick with name brand, like DKNY, because name brands typically have high standards for their clothing. These clothes are easy to wash and cause no rashes. Attention to detail is noticeable here. Great for gifting, as the outfit was presented/arrived with nice tags. DKNY clothing stands-out in and out of school. Considering the material and its weight, perfect for all weather conditions. I washed this with like colors, in cold water, and have used a dryer – but just a few minutes, low setting and then line dried it.I think this outfit looks and feels luxurious. My word for this kind of quality? Selvedge. Which a fancy Italian designer refers to on some of their top-of-the-line clothing, which I opine applies here.What I liked the bestThe DKNY T-Shirt. The pants were too short for my tall grandson.

Got this for my son. He doesn't like jeans and I wanted an outfit for him that was a bit nicer than sweatpants. It fits as expected. The pants are a little on the thin side but still nice. Wash and wear well.
