Scooby-Doo! & Batman: The Brave and the Bold (DVD)

My Review and Thought
This movie is....OUTRAGEOUS! In a good way, that is!Scooby-Doo! & Batman: The Brave and the Bold is the latest installment in the Scooby Doo! the animated film series. This move marks the 40th year or so since the last time Scooby and the Gang team-up with Batman. The last time a crossover like this happened was 40 years ago with an episode from one of the old Scooby Doo! cartoon series on TV, called "The New Scooby-Doo Movies". It was a cartoon show similar to the first, original Scooby-Doo! cartoon except that in each and every episode, Scooby and the gang team-up with famous celebrity of their time, such as the comedian Don Knott, The Globetrotters, and Batman, who was voiced by the late actor, Adam West, along side his sidekick, the boy wonder Robin. Technically, this movie isn't the first time when Scooby-Doo meets Batman (the Brave and the Bold version) because Scooby-Doo and the gang actually made a cameo appearance in the last episode of the cartoon show, Batman: The Brave and the Bold. However, this movie is actually the official crossover since the first crossover with Adam West's Batman. The story goes like this; Scooby and the Gang meets Batman, and he chose them to become a new member of his own Superhero detective group, "The Mystery Analyst of Gotham", and work together to solve Batman's one and only unsolved case, which that introduces the "main villain" of the movie; the mysterious Crimson Cloak. The reason I place a quote for "main villain" is a bit of foreshadow, but I won't spoil about it. The cast of characters is like anything from previous Scooby-Doo movies; the Mystery Gang along with Batman, Aquaman, Plastic Man, Black Canary, Martian Manhunter, Detective Chimp, and the Question. The characters are of course based off the DC comic book characters, but the version from the Brave and the Bold show. This movie is great. Although it may not be a movie for everyone because this version of Batman is not the typical darker Batman, like one from the Killing Joke or anything with the latest comics or even at all with comics, it shows a bit of light-hearten side of Batman, but a good one. This version of Batman is the Brave and the Bold version, which I mention before that it was a cartoon show that was aired on Cartoon Network a long time ago. I think at least about 5 to 6 years ago. I really don't remember when it was premiered or when it ended, but it was a pretty good show despite how corny it may look, sometimes, but it is not too corny as the Adam West's version of Batman. The animation in this movie actually match well. When I watch this movie, I thought it look more like I am watching some kind of special episode from Batman the Brave and the Bold show, but it still has a mystery to solve for the main characters, which is where Scooby and the Gang gets involved in. One of the best parts I think that I like in this movie is the opening scene because it felt very nostalgia if you watched the old, "The New Scooby Doo! Movies" show and Batman: The Brave and the Bold show, respectfully. So, is this movie worth it? Like I said, it is not for everyone, but if you like Scooby-Doo and Batman: The Brave and the Bold, then I would recommend this movie for fans, and if you have kids who like Scooby-Doo or Batman, this movie is worth the money and it brings best of both worlds. One interesting thing, if you are curious to watch, is that this movie comes with a Special Feature; two bonus episodes. The first one is the official episode from the "The New Scooby-Doo! Movies" with the dynamic duo, Adam West's Batman and his sidekick, Robin. The second one I think is the episode from Brave and the Bold with the cameo appearance of the Mystery Gang. I recommend you to watch the first one because I watched it when I was a kid and it really is good. Again, it may not be your taste and it is old, but it is one of the classic episodes back in the old days of Scooby-Doo.I hope you found this review useful and try this movie out.

Scooby-Doo & Batman The Brave and The Bold Is One The Best Animated Films Released
For those who own Scooby-Doo Meets Batman Dvd are definitely going to pick up this dvd or all ready have like I did of course I own two copy's of Scooby-Doo & Batman The Brave and The Bold plus I own all 3 seasons of Batman The Brave and The Bold's Dvd's plus more Batman The Brave & The Bold Dvd's . Batman The Brave and Bold Cartoon was a great and a amazing series and I'm glad that it was brought back with this animated movie it takes place after Batman The Brave and The Bold season 3. We start things off when Mystery Inc. or Scooby and the gang are battling some bad guys or so they thought it turns out to be a test that was run buy the Justice League led by Batman, Black Canary, Martian Manhunter, Aquaman, and Detective Chimp and Scooby and the gang passed their test with flying colors when suddenly there is a brake in at a Chemical Lab and a bunch of istopes were stolen but by who ?. Well that's what Batman and Scooby and the gang must figure out and fast because Detective Harvey Bullock Suspects that the Mystery Inc. is involved in the thefts there is only one problem it turns out there is a new villain who calls himself Crimson Cloak now this villain is connected to Batman's unsolved case what's more is that the Mystery Inc. has been read in to the unsolved case and not the J.L.A of course that doesn't really mater because the Justice League had just realized that this a frame up after a few chases that is a frame up created by The Riddler also known as Edward Nygma and Clayface also known as Basil Karlo also known as Crimson Cloak. It turns out that The Riddler plans to use a time portal device in order to destroy Gotham City now its up to The Justice League and Mystery Inc. to stop The Riddler from destroying Gotham City this is an amazing animated film. The Movie was produced by: Michael Jelennic and the story was done by James Tucker Who Produce The Batman & The Bold cartoon that originally aired on Cartoon Network this is what a cartoon needs to be made because unlike The Be Cool Scooby-Doo cartoon in which the animation is light weight I' sorry to say but here in this Dc Comics/Hanna Barbera cartoon is done amazing well and the story is very good now why did I mention this ? its because in the 1989 Batman movie review that was done by Gene Siskel & Roger Ebert back in 1989 as Roger Ebert once said is that Steven Spielberg knows in his films is that you got to have strong characters and a strong story or the special effects becomes something nice to look at. Or in this case the animation in Be Cool Scooby-Doo series it became something ok to look at however in Scooby-Doo & Batman The Brave and The Bold animated film the animation is amazing and the story is also well made and well written and well told and the twists kept me surprised. In my opinion this is a great animated film for all ages who are Scooby-Doo fans or Batman fans or both like me. The only problem that I have is that there is no blu.ray disc now why is that ? well I can guess is that Warner Bros has just decided that this film needs a dvd release only I beg to differ Warner Bros we do need a blu.ray disc or a 4k Ultra disc we all ready have the dvd make it happen Warner Bros rise to the occasion and release the blu.ray disc and the 4k ultra disc of Scooby-Doo & Batman The Brave and The Bold animated film Final Rating 5.5 Stars

The Scooby Gang Meets Batman
I really enjoyed this film. It was great to see the Brave and the Bold version of Batman back. Along with many of the guest characters from that show as well as a bunch of characters that r made it into the show. In addition, it's a greet Scooby-Doo adventure. His movie combines the 2 franchises very nicely. The kids really enjoyed it and loved it too. 5 stars.
