Fold Down (Foldable) Security Post Bollard Parking

Bought this to put into drive following wife's purchase of a classic VW Beetle. As the car is sat around most of the time (its 50 years old so bought as a summer Sunday fun car), my wife felt more comfortable if it had a deterrent for anyone wanting to take an interest. Easy to install, dug a hole and concreted in. I actually extended the section that goes below ground as didn't feel it was long enough that once concreted in, it could be just wiggled loose especially if the ground is mud/clay. So I extended it so it was down in the ground a bit further. Maybe overkill but more peace of mind. But the post above ground is solid, strong, visible and does the job.

Easy to fix and deters the "whoops I'm lost I'll turn around in your drive" brigade! Comes with a robust lock too! This had a few issues but was swiftly replaced - great price, great product and great service!

Purchased to keep unauthorised vehicles out! Working well. Easy to install. Good quality padlock is a bonus but fiddly to use so have replaced. Would like the post to be taller but Iknew what I was getting and have fixed reflective tape. Good value.

This product looks and feels like a professional fold-down car space barrier. It’s solidly constructed and comes with a padlock. Our car space has block paviours – they look like bricks – so fixing a barrier with rag bolts or expansion bolts wasn’t going to give a firm fixing. This barrier has a 250mm long “root” that is fixed into a hole with quick-setting post cement. I recommend that the barrier and surrounding area are masked as the post cement is fine and tends to settle on surfaces around the hole.My neighbours are sufficiently impressed to be ordering two.

Great product, ideal for what I wanted (stop drivers turning on my drive) easy to erect. This is my second bollard I have drilled and fitted eye bolts to them so a chain can be fitted when I'm away.

Had to get someone to dig a hole and cement it in but other than that it is added security and a very good deterrent. The lock (although other reviewers said it wasn't very strong) seems ok to me - but I am a woman!!!!

The post is good but the lock that comes with it was jammed only a few days after used, have to buy another lock.

Great quality, heavy and durable. To get the most of the design you need to be prepared to dig out a hole and use concrete to set it in. But in my opinion well worth the trouble as previous bolt down versions simply don’t last even when driven over in their “Down position”
