This is my second time leaving this review because Open Road Goods removed my last review, stating “ We investigated your concerns about product authenticity, and the information we have indicates that the product you received was authentic. As a result, we removed the review you submitted.”Well good, it was authentic. So let met give another authentic review. This thing did nothing but leave a huge mess out of the box. Fabric shed everywhere. I took it outside and shook it and beat it, thinking maybe that’s what it needed. The shedding never stopped. I’m still finding strands from this blanket a month later. Thank god for free returns, but I praise amazon for that. The seller will just remove your negative review, so hopefully you see this before this one gets removed too 🤬

I ordered this last night and it just arrived about 30 minutes ago. The blanket is very large (which is what I wanted) and beautiful. Other reviewers mentioned after washing that it really softens up and I can definitely tell that it will because it is already soft - considering the style of blanket that it is. My first impression is that the blanket it well made but there were several imperfections and loose threads in the blanket. Others said this is a tight weave compared to other Mexican blankets and it mostly is but there are too many (7) loose stitches for me to justify this $40 blanket. I will be returning this one and reordering another tonight with hopes that it won’t have as many imperfections as the one that just arrived. Assuming it’s perfect I will update my review to 5 stars.

Wow is all I can say about this blanket! It’s large enough, it’s thick enough, the colors and design are incredible. It’s thick, but soft, I purchased this for camping and the beach, but now I’m thinking it’s way too nice to beat up! It may have to live in the house for a while.

I bought this blanket because of the look. I was so happy when it came. It is great quality. My noni would always have pendleton blankets around to hang out in or take on trips but I can't afford to shell out that kind of money on a blanket going on a motorcycle for trips. This blanket is the perfect alternative. It's warm and cozy and if dirt, sand, or salt gets on it; you can just shake it off. it's a great blanket and if I need another one I will buy it from this seller.

This blanket does have a thicker, more substantial feel to it.. Colors on mine are exactly as shown, which is what I wanted and expected. It arrived in two days {Prime customer.} I really like it and would not hesitate to purchase from Open Road Goods again. I gave it a wash, cold water, on gentle cycle when I got it, threw in some softener. Warm dryer... no shrink at all. Perfect I'm gonna enjoy it for a long time I think...

Love the blanket! It's not as thick as other similar styles I've gotten but it's ok since I love the coloration of the grey one so much. I just hope it doesn't get super pilly after the first time washing it. Would recommend!P.S. My cat also approves ;p

I love these blankets. This one is my favorite because the colors are perfect to go with my Santa Fe interior decorated home. They're huge and a perfect weight for my use. An earlier one I purchased is hanging on an original Navajo ladder in the bedroom. This one, for now, is hanging over the back of one of our barstools between the living-dining area. It will probably be used on the leather sofa, because it should be spread out. Prices are amazing.

I put one of these on my xmas list. I received one, which I was going to use for yoga; however, my husband soon fell in love with it as a regular blanket. He really liked the length. Because I now wanted one of my OWN, I went ahead and ordered 3 more in various colors and gave one to my mother. The quality and thickness is great, not to mentioned again the size. All the colors are pretty. You will not be disappointed. Wonderful company too!

This is a lovely blanket - soft, warm, but not too heavy and perfect for an outdoor bench at our desert home. I wanted one that I could throw in the washer since it will be mainly used outdoors. I've already washed and dried it, and it held up perfectly. The colors are accurately depicted in the photo, and the blanket arrived very quickly and in perfect condition.

The blanket itself was awesome. Just like the reviews I read before ordering. I have Amazon prime though and ordered on the 14 and it was promised initially to be here by the 16th or 17th. It didn't come until the 29th. I will be contacting Amazon about it...who I have a feeling will pass the blame onto the person who sent it to me.The product itself met all expectations and wasn't chincy in size. Love it.

Love this blanket! Great large size. Weaving is a little bit tighter, but on par with other hippie Guatemalan blankets I own. Colors are simple, but quality in dye tone. Think I will order another, just wish they had more color options for this size. Affordable quality in classic design. Very happy with my purchase.

Much nicer than I expected, and plenty large enough to keep you warm on the sofa.
