Adhesive gave up very quickly.
Not worth the price. I allowed plenty of curing time for the adhesive. In a very short time it began to separate from the build surface.

Great addition, makes removing prints easy.
I'm new to the resin printers, and started off buying an Anycubic photon mono M5. Its a great printer, but I had a heck of a time getting prints off the build plate. After breaking a few, I saw this addition and thought I'd give it a try. I'm glad I did.I cleaned my build plate very thoroughly, then applied this flex plate to it. The unit consists of a magnetic sheet that has adhesive on one side, and a stainless steel flexible plate on the other. You attach the magnetic sheet to the build plate (using the adhesive side). Then you print on the stainless steel surface. When the print is done, the stainless sheet can be pulled off the magnetic material (remaining on the build plate). All it takes to break the adhesion of the part is to flex the SS sheet, and viola it pops right off. No breaking!I understood all that when I bought it, but was wondering about the installation. I didnt know if my printer somehow adjusted its home position based on force feedback or what. Much to my initial dismay however, I found that my printer simply uses an optical interrupter and a vane on the gantry. As the gantry lowers down to the home position, the vane blocks the light beam between an LED and a phototransistor, telling it that the gantry has reached its home position.Unfortunately, the addition of this flex plate upset this mechanism. The vane no longer reached all the way to the interrupter before the build plate bottomed out on the screen. this caused the printer to repeatedly try to rehome the plate, crashing into the screen each time. Luckily, it didnt use enough force to break anything. My initial attempt to fix this was to attach a longer vane to the existing one to compensate for the extra thickness. That was not terribly succesfull however. The tolerances needed are too tight, and I couldnt really acheive the results I wanted. So, a different approach was needed. On the Anycubic printer, the build plate attaches to the gantry with a steel bracket that allows you to loosen 4 screws to level the build plate. turns out, there was more than enough room in the bracket to lengthen the screw holes the thickness of the additional flex plate. That let me then loosen the screws, rehome the gantry, then tighten the screws. I did have to mill the screw holes out in a slot to allow the plate to slide up the extra thickness. This could be done using a rat-tail file, or a Dremmel motor tool or hand grinder if your really careful. I had the luxury of having a Bridgeport mill, so I just clamped it on the table and used a milling cutter to cut the slots. It would have been nice if the Anycubic printer had these holes already slotted for this kind of attachment. Other printers may. Other printers may have different ways of adjusting the home position. If you are adding one of these flex plates, take that into consideration. The effort was well worth it though.

Not suitable for Anycubic M5s
Despite the listing title and description, this item does not work for Anycubic M5s. As can be seen in the images, there is considerable overlap of the original build plate. The flexi plate falls inside the build area just slightly, but enough for this to be a hard no.For a properly sized build plate, this would be perfect.

NOT the right size
As a previous reviewer posted, this is NOT sized for the M5s. It is sized for the Mono X - literally the same size as the Mono X-sized one I bought previously. Really disappointed!
