Delighted with this for my springer, a medium is perfect on her. I'm just ordering ones for my terriers now!! It's well made and I love the drawstring neck. She can potter around the house after a morning swim and be warm and snug while drying. She thinks it's a very lovely dressing gown!!!

I cannot believe how this towel has been getting good reviews as it's probably one of the worst things i have ever bought in my 54 years. The micro fibre is VERY poor quality. It is so thin if you hold it up to the light you can see through it. The entire XL towel can be rolled up and placed inside a box the size of a small bag of sugar.Save yourself some money and buy a very good quality micro fibre car drying towel. You can get XL ones for about £20. These are very thick and highly absorbent. Chemical Guys Wooly Mammoth is a good choice.

I have a medium sized border collie, whose coat is incredibly thick. When it rains, he gets absolutely soaked and as we live and walk him in quite a rural area, there's a lot of mud that gets stuck to his tummy too. I had my reservations about this as I was dubious it would work. However, I was growing sick of either having to towel him down for twenty minutes after each walk, or nagging my husband to do it. The first time we used it, we just dried off the excess rain and mud with his usual towel, and then wrapped his up in this. He was completely dry within an hour, whereas usually I'd have to get the hairdryer out, or have him sit next to the fire to try to dry off. My dog was a little reluctant to wear it at first but was ok once it was over his head. It's easy to wash, and easy to adjust the fit - the only improvement I'd make would be to have a buckle under the tail area, as if my dog wriggles about a lot, the towel can get a bit twisted over his hind legs. All in all though a great buy - I've bought a couple for my parent's dogs too.

At first I was a little disappointed that it was so thin and flimsy and wondered how an earth it would work especially on a springer who loves the river and mud!!! The first time we tried it on he didn't bat an eyelid no pulling off or chewing. Now it has to be one of the best buys ever he loves it!!! Great for in the car after a walk especially if cold and wet or after washing down and then drying off before coming into the house. He loves it and will settle down and sleep in it.

Of all the things I've bought my dog, this is the one thing I would throw away. I just don't get it. The microfibre is thin and not very absorbent. It has one flimsy strap around it so nothing keeps the towel in place which means that if your dog moves, she will completely fall over the towel that is hanging down. It's pointless! Wish I had bought another one with a proper strap around the tummy so it wraps the towel around the dog.Edit: After being used around 4 times, my dog has now chewed off the strap around the tummy and the one around the neck. The pulley string around the neck is downright dangerous. Once done up, it just hangs down and can then catch on things. I have since bought another dog robe on Amazon. It is only a few pounds more and the difference is amazing. I feel so ripped off that I spent money on this. The other one is made out of thick towel, has velcro round the tummy and neck and feels amazing quality. My dog loves wearing it and it actually dries her. I really cannot recommend you save your money and don’t buy this enough! Whilst I wanted to buy British, I wish I hadn’t bought for that reason.

I thought it was a bit pricey when I ordered it, but after another dog bath followed by her running around after and getting everything wet, I decided she needed a dressing gown! Really pleased I got it and to me its worth the money. My dog was happy to wear it (although she is used to wearing coats and jumpers- yes I'm one of 'those' dog owners). It fitted her well and I didn't feel tight that she was shivering with wet fur as I can't convince her to let me use the hairdryer on her!

lovely and warm , I used this for my little King Charles after a bath, i put it on him in the bath before he had chance to shake himself and drench me and the bathroom, helps to soak up a lot of the water from his coat making drying time with the hairdryer easier, i think they are on the larger size but I prefer this as you can easily adjust it if you want your doggie to wear it for a while , it's not thick material and basically like a large microfibre cleaning cloth ... but at least i have less to clean up in the bathroom and it takes less time when drying him after a bath

How did we ever manage without one of these. It's a godsend no more wet floors, car seats etc. Our dog didn't like it at first but now loves it and asks for it to be put on. we have a small gun dog retriever and went for the Large size if I was buying another - which will undoubtedly happen - we would go for the XL if that helps. Star Buy - well chuffed !!!
